My colleagues and I questioned Barr on everything from the aggressive federal response toward peaceful protesters exercising their First Amendment rights to the corruption in his Justice Department. I also asked him the simple question: “Is it EVER appropriate, sir, for the president to solicit or accept foreign assistance in an election?” His answer? “It depends what kind of assistance.” William Barr has no respect for the rule of law or the American people.
