Israel's genocidal government said "all of Lebanon must burn" and called for the country to be "obliterated." Those were the words of Israel's national security minister.¹

Israel has killed over 4,000 people in Lebanon, wounded over 12,000, invaded and occupied southern Lebanon, displaced over a million people, and destroyed countless homes and villages.² Israel's relentless violence also threatens U.S. peace negotiations with Iran.

A vote this week could end U.S. military support for Israel's aggression and occupation in Lebanon.³ Our lawmakers must stop providing Israel funding and weapons for this killing and destruction.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib's war powers resolution would force the U.S. to end unauthorized military cooperation with Israel in its invasion and occupation of Lebanon. "Our country should not be assisting or supporting indiscriminate bombings and forced displacement anywhere, including Lebanon," Rep. Tlaib said.³

As in Gaza, if the U.S. fails to act, Israel will continue killing and displacing people, destroying the homes of thousands of families, and unleashing another genocide.

Congress must rebuke the Trump administration's support for Israel and reject aid for Israeli attacks in Lebanon.

Israel has unleashed its genocidal Gaza playbook on southern Lebanon, carpet-bombing villages, displacing 1.6 million people, and massacring rescue workers in violation of an alleged "cease-fire."1,2 Meanwhile, Palestinians continue to starve to death in Gaza due to an ongoing Israeli blockade of humanitarian aid. Israel even attacked an aid flotilla attempting to deliver food to Gaza this week.3 In the face of these atrocities, Donald Trump is trying to sneak another $1 billion in laser-guided precision kill rockets to Israel.4 Israel could not continue its horrific violence without the continuous flood of U.S. military aid, and we've launched an urgent campaign to stop Trump's latest arms shipment for Netanyahu.
