PROTESTING BRENDAN CARR A protest erupted at FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr’s first open meeting since his failed attempt to remove Jimmy Kimmel from the air. People chanted “Fire Carr, the censorship czar,” while a sign language interpreter on-screen ensured the message from the demonstrators was available to all. SUPREME COURT SURPRISE I was genuinely shocked when I heard good news coming from the Supreme Court yesterday—for a change. Trump hoped they would let him immediately fire Federal Reserve Governor Dr. Lisa Cook. Instead, the Court chose to keep Dr. Cook in her role until at least January—when oral arguments will be held. BESHEAR BRINGS THE FIRE Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear slammed Trump’s unhinged rant in front of military leaders this week. On Jim Acosta’s show, Beshear called it “un-American,” and “very much like McCarthyism.” He added: “This was a direct attempt to politicize our armed forces.” Beshear also went after Trump’s threat to fire hundreds of thousands of federal workers unless Democrats cave to his demands. Beshear said: “It’s blackmail … Like a bank robber saying … ‘I wouldn’t have robbed the bank if the security guard had stopped me.’” JOHNSON FACT-CHECKED Speaker Mike Johnson tried to spread his shutdown lies during live appearances on ABC and CNN this week—and it didn’t go well for him. Both hosts fact-checked Johnson’s lie about giving healthcare to undocumented immigrants in real time. Johnson grew visibly flustered, struggling to defend Trump’s shutdown. It’s time for Johnson and his GOP to quit playing games, get back to work, and make sure health insurance costs don’t go up for countless Americans. AOC LAYS OUT THE TRUTH Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made it clear why Dems must not relent in the face of GOP shutdown. AOC stated that polling for Trump and Republicans is “underwater across the board, and they know it. And that is causing them to double down in public, but it is backfiring.” AOC added: “They want us to blink first and we have too much to save.” She later said, “We now have a chance to defend the healthcare of millions of Americans … Let’s take it.” CALLING FOR THE 25TH IL Gov. JB Pritzker did not mince words when sharing his thoughts on Trump, saying “he’s copying tactics of Vladimir Putin … There is something genuinely wrong with this man, and the 25th Amendment ought to be invoked.” I want to be clear: There’s virtually no chance of Trump getting removed under the 25th Amendment. Pritzker knows what Trump’s state of mind is, and that Trump should be removed as unable to fulfill the duties of his office. However, if he does so, Stephen Miller and Russell Vought might have more problems explaining to Vance as to why Vance should do the things they want. Miller and Vought get what they want from Trump with no questions asked. Vance is pretty loony, too. But without Trump, MAGA falls apart. Vance can't command a donut house (proven fact), much less an insane clown posse cult. I doubt that will ever happen! Obviously Clarence Thomas & Samuel Alito have been given license to continue their Grifting and Tom Homan's Fin status, when he was with the Obama Admin, was around 200-300 hundred thousand. Yesterday, I shared news about a blistering anti-Trump billboard that went up in Phoenix, AZ. Due to popular demand, here’s the image for all to see:

Pretty great, right? Also, quite disturbing.

I recently read about 100-year-old Navy Veteran Burk Ketcham, who served in World War II. Ketcham has been out protesting against the Trump regime for quite a while now. Ketcham says he feels “obligated” to speak out “because of the situation our country is in.” What an inspiration.

I’m hearing more and more stories about buyers’ remorse from Trump supporters. In Chatsworth, CA, Cynthia Olivera was taken into custody by federal immigration authorities, following a green card interview. She is now being deported. Cynthia’s husband Francisco said: “We feel blindsided, betrayed … I want my vote back.”

In North Carolina, Gov. Josh Stein vetoed four racist and hateful GOP bills. They included three pieces of legislation that aimed to stop folks from implementing DEI initiatives, and the other would’ve stripped away transgender rights.

Stein stated: “Teachers, law enforcement, and state employees need pay raises … the legislature failed to pass a budget and, instead, wants to distract us by stoking culture wars that further divide us.” Absolutely true.

In Kentucky, Gov. Andy Beshear torched the big evil bill, saying: “It's the single worst piece of legislation I've seen in my lifetime, and it is a congressional Republican and presidential attack on rural America.”

Every Democratic elected official needs to repeat this, over and over again.

Many of our readers told me they received an email from the Social Security Administration, right after the big evil bill passed. I got one too—and I don’t qualify for Social Security for years. Let me be clear: It was pure propaganda, filled with outright lies, in an attempt to cover up the harm the big evil bill will bring.

Dem Rep. Frank Pallone blasted the bogus SSA email, saying: “Every word of it is a lie … It’s disturbing to see Trump hijack a public institution to push blatant misinformation.” Unfortunately, that’s par for the course with this regime.

And it’s exactly why—for nearly a decade—I’ve helped lead the opposition against Trump and his cult. I’ve been on the frontlines fighting their dangerous lies about Covid, elections, Russia, and so much more.
