NOBEL WARNING

Trump will be meeting Venezuelan opposition leader and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, María Corina Machado, at the White House this week. Machado previously mentioned she might share the medal with Trump.

But the Nobel Institute made it clear: “Once a Nobel Prize is announced, it cannot be revoked, shared or transferred to others. The decision is final and stands for all time.”

Too bad, Donald.

OF COURSE TRUMP SHOULD BE IMPEACHED

This weekend, when asked if Trump should be impeached, Dem Sen. Chris Murphy stated: “I have common sense. I know that [Trump] has committed ten times more impeachable offenses in his second term as he did in his first term.”

“He is stealing from the American people,” Murphy said. “Taking a luxury private jet from Qatar, trading national security secrets to a foreign nation in exchange for a $2 billion investment in his cryptocurrency … I don’t think it’s any secret that [Trump’s] level of corruption and illegality is nuclear-grade.”

AOC BURNS FOX PRODUCER

Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez brought the fire when a Fox “News” producer approached her to say: “Jesse Watters would like to invite you on his show.”

AOC responded: “He has sexualized me on his show. He has sexually harassed me on his show. He has engaged in horrific, sexually exploitative rhetoric … So why don’t you tell me what you think?” AOC then said “thank you,” turned her back on him, and walked away.

Later, when sharing a video of the encounter on social media, AOC wrote: “You can either be a pervert or ask me to be on your little show. Not both. Good luck!”

FOX CHOOSES THE WRONG PERSON

Speaking of Fox “News,” one recent interview on Hannity completely backfired.

As Sean Hannity fed questions through an earpiece, a supposed reporter on the ground asked a protester in Minneapolis why they were there. The man replied, saying ICE has to stop “kidnapping” people, and that “they murdered an innocent human being.”

Hannity then tried to lay a trap by asking via the reporter whether the attendee thought Renee Nicole Good drove toward the ICE officer. The demonstrator responded, “That’s not what it looked like to me at all,” and added, “There’s absolutely no justification for this.”

A THOUSAND EVENTS AGAINST ICE

Following the killing of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent, there were more than 1,000 rallies, marches, and protests held against ICE all across the country this weekend. Above is an image of just one of those events in Minneapolis.

We need to compel Congress to use the budget appropriations process to severely cut back funding for ICE, and limit the scope of their actions, with an effective enforcement mechanism. The hiring of new agents should be frozen, pending a Congressional review of the lowered standards, and detailed profiles of all new hires made in the past year.

Call your senators. If you know they are resisting cutting ICE funding, let them know they have betrayed you and all of their constituents. Enough of money being more important than protecting all of us.

I attended a rally in Tijeras, NM. We had a clown in his big truck drive by with his rifle out of the driver side window. He made sure we all saw it. He was just smart enough to keep it pointed up. We all laughed at him.

I protested with several friends in San Diego, California. It was a huge turnout, even though it was not in the main area of town.

I have left several messages for all congressmen that Trump and his entire cabinet needs to be impeached and imprisoned NOW. We cannot wait until later this year. The man is clearly out of his mind and so are all the people who are enabling him. He is the number one enemy not justice of the United States, but of the entire world. He needs to be removed from causing any further damage.

I attended the ICE OUT FOR GOOD,on the Mannett Bridge, Bremerton, WA. It was very cold and hurt alot (arthritis) but I am glad I was able to stick it out. Got a ride from contact through Bremerton Indivisible, which made it possible.

Yes, I would attend a protest near me here in northern MN and will support the protests on line. I have also urged my MAGA congresswoman to support the impeachment of Trump. Schumer and Jeffries need to reach out to Republicans that (according to multiple sources) are appalled by the cruelty, lunacy and lawlessness of Trump and his minions. We need to end the Trump administration before he completely destroys the country.

Yes. As with the other two protests that I attended over the last seven months, it was peaceful and positive. Overwhelming positive reaction from passing cars and the police were cool. Just a very small handful of MAGA motorists. But they did not dampen our spirit or resolve.

I attended 2 events over the weekend. Both well attended. One with powerful speakers and music. The other with cars honking in support .

Couldn’t stop but I honked at five people on a street corner in Little Marion Massachusetts and gave them a big thumbs up. I think that helps a lot if you’re standing out in the cold.

We had over 1000 yesterday aft in my red Florida district.I was there for almost the duration and didn’t witness a single one-finger salute or f-u. A first !

My husband and I attended a “No ICE” protest on the steps of the state capitol in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. About 200 of us stood under our umbrellas in the rain and cold, chanting among other things “We want justice for Renee.”

I support getting information about trump and his cronies, I post everyday in multiple social media platforms. People need to know how often what this mad man , incompetent turd is doing daily to destroy this country , all for money and power to prove he is not a weak insecure piece of shit. He is failing to convince anyone but himself. He is a pedophile convicted felon and sex abuser he has no morals, no empathy, and does not give a dam about the American people or thus country only what he can get financially for himself and his immediate family. It's so freaking scary that a guy who is killing defenseless men in small boats, bombing other countries, and kidnapping heads of state thinks he deserves a peace prize. And then the whole "I need Greenland for its psychological benefit" b.s. This man is looney tunes, and only a few Rs have moved an inch towards acknowledging it.

I went to an event in Portland Oregon. There was quite a crowd, about a thousand of us. Lots of good signs, some hand made frog hats, rousing speeches, and a feeling of sorrow, anger, and solidarity. No violence except when ICE, the previous day, shot and wounded two people at a "traffic stop".

This can't go on. They are pouring millions into ICE, hiring untrained people off the streets who have no business being there, creating a gang of thugs AKA GESTAPO. I say "they" because it's not just tRump, it's Steven Miller, it's Christy Noem, it's most Republicans in Congress who are planning all of this or complicit with it.

This insanity HAS GOT TO STOP. I'll be calling more R Congresspeople today. IMPEACH T AND ALL HIS HENCHMEN.

YES! I attended an "ICE OUT FOR GOOD!" Rally in our little town of Mount Shasta City, CA. We had an excellent turn-out -- lots of noise and enthusiasm -- as well as a good measure of grief and bewilderment.

I did not attend any events. I did support. Let’s think about this…if the Nobel Peace Prize could be shared, would DJT share it? Absolutely not. Thank you. Going to attend a Louisville Dems Volunteers meeting tonight featuring women in leadership including Amy McGrath who ran unsuccessfully against Mitch McConnell a few years ago. Already a few Dem hats in the ring for McC's seat. She might toss hers in as well.

I attended a rally with about 50 others in west central Minnesota on Saturday. It was very cold, but not as cold as ICE. There was a MAGA mouthpiece (a pretty big guy with his minion sidekick) there spewing his vile not well thought out propaganda and no one engaged. He walked across the street were there was a group of women and shoved a young lady and took her flag. The ladies surrounded him, got the flag back, self defense shoved him a few times and he and his toadie very quickly retreated. It was perfect, it reminded me of the Scut Farkas Incident on A Christmas Story, minus the bloody nose!!

Sounds like a classic bully. I carry a personal alarm that emits a high decibel alarm and starts a strobe light, if I pull the pin. Common safety feature for single women, readily available online.

A lot of the protest captains are now wearing body cameras since one of them had an angry white bully start shouting invectives at her; then when she started filming him, he snatched her phone, stuck it in his pocket and walked off. So my friend and one of the other protesters called the police and started following him home. (The jerk was out walking his dog).

The other woman was wearing a body camera so she captured the entire incident. The police showed up at his door and the upshot is that he was charged with theft of property. He was also served a warrant by the Sherriff - they showed up at his door and everything. Once he understood the consequences, he first tried to be conciliatory, but she is still pressing charges. Last I heard his lawyer was trying to force her to show up at the hearing to be a witness - I guess in the hope that the case would be dismissed if she didn't show up. I am doubtful that will happen - she is still steamed about the incident.

My advice is to not piss off a post-menopausal woman! We can be fierce!!
