Pipe bomber, pardons, and a President in declineThe David Pakman Show - December 8, 2025
Already a website member? Watch the show commercial-free here | Want to become a member? Sign up here Over the weekend, it was reported that the suspect in the 2021 attempted pipe bombing on the eve of the January 6 riots, 30-year-old Brian Cole, appears to be a Trump supporter disappointed by the 2020 election results. Cole allegedly left explosive devices outside both the Republican and Democratic National Committees, which fortunately did not detonate. Law enforcement linked him to the incidents through cell phone records, license plate tracking, purchase records, and surveillance video. Reports suggest Donald Trump may have engaged in mortgage fraud similar to what he has publicly accused Democrats of doing. In 1993, he claimed two Florida properties as primary residences to secure favorable mortgages, even though he never lived in them. By contrast, the people he criticized genuinely intended to live in their homes, making their actions legal. Speculation around Trump’s health continues because of the president’s large hand bandages, signs of fatigue, slurred speech, and possible cognitive decline. While there is no confirmed evidence of dementia or Alzheimer’s, the lack of transparency and delayed disclosures leave many unanswered questions. RESEARCH SEN. TOM COTTON HISTORY! CNN’s John Berman confronted Senator Tom Cotton on the legality of bombing suspected narco-trafficking boats near U.S. waters. Cotton deflected, citing foreign threats and presidential authority while avoiding direct answers about targeting U.S. citizens. TRUMP RAMBLING, INCOHERENT, IRRATIONAL.. At the Kennedy Center Honors dinner, Trump compared the Supreme Court and Senate to a fantasy football roster, obsessed over marble tiles, bragged about construction projects, mocked Biden’s golf, and claimed women thanked him for making Washington safe. IT HAS BEEN REPORTED THAT JEWISH LASER QUEEN ENSURED THAT SHE RESIGNED AFTER SHE WAS ENTITLED TO ALL THE CONGRESSIONAL RETIREMENT FREEBIES Marjorie Taylor Greene is resigning from Congress on January 5th. In her 60 Minutes interview, she attempted a mea culpa which only strained credibility. She admitted Republicans had privately mocked Trump while publicly supporting him, said Trump had fueled threats against her and her son, and blamed the media for political toxicity. She distanced herself from MAGA, called herself America First, and offered no clear plans for the future. Finally, Donald Trump went on Truth Social to defend his pardon of Democratic Congressman Henry Cuellar and, in doing so, admitted that his pardons operate as quid pro quos. He framed the pardon as a “life-saving” act requested by Cuellar’s daughters, but immediately warned that if Cuellar continued working with Democrats, his generosity would not repeat. On today’s bonus show:The Supreme Court will weigh in on Trump’s ability to fire people, the Supreme Court will hear a case on birthright citizenship, Trump gets a bogus peace prize at a World Cup event, and much more... NEWS: Mike Johnson Braces for 'Mass Exodus' of House Republicans this Month as Dozens set to RetireMike Johnson braces for 'mass exodus' of House Republicans. Trump caught committing same mortgage fraud he is prosecuting Letitia James for. Trump's Thailand peace deal is effectively over.
Good morning everyone. We have major developments to break down today. First, a mass exodus of Republicans from the House is expected this month, with as many as 20 members heading for the exits, some possibly earlier than planned, as many conclude they are facing grim odds going into 2026. At the same time, the Thailand Cambodia peace deal championed by Trump has collapsed, and a new investigation shows that Trump himself engaged in the same mortgage fraud activity he is now pursuing against Letitia James and others. Before we dive in, TikTok has intensified its crackdown on news content, issuing multiple community guidelines strikes while the White House escalates efforts to target journalists it disapproves of. Before we start another week of Trump’s mayhem, I’m glad to have more great news for you today. I hope it gives you some relief from this regime’s madness—even if only for a moment.
Unlike “mainstream” news outlets, The Dworkin Report never waters down our reporting to appease billionaire owners, advertisers, or Trump. So if you’re tired of corporate media’s noise, and want to help fuel our work, please become a paid subscriber today:
Thanks for being here. Let’s jump in.
Recently, in New Orleans, folks marched downtown in the pouring rain against ICE’s expanded operations in the community. The weather failed to dampen the fired-up crowd, who held a banner that read “ICE/Border Patrol Out Of NOLA!” while chanting “No ICE, no fear, immigrants are welcome here.”
Demonstrators made it clear they would keep pushing back as long as the Trump regime’s bogus operation continues there. One attendee said: “The rain doesn’t stop ICE, and the rain is not going to stop us.” You got that right!
On Saturday, failing Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem went to Chicago for a photo op at a holiday charity event, where she was “welcomed” by protesters. Holding signs that read “Santa’s watching” and “Hands off Chicago,” folks did not appreciate Noem and her goons making a mockery of the occasion.
They also did some caroling to spread cheer, singing: “Oh Kristi Noem, oh Kristi Noem, we’re going to fight until we win.”
On Friday, a large crowd of people in Mogadishu, Somalia, protested against Trump. They were rallying to reject Trump’s racist comments about the Somali community, including one in which he called immigrants from the country “garbage.” One attendee responded: “We are not garbage. He is the one who is trash.”
Meanwhile, Dem Rep. Ilhan Omar—who is Somali-American—blasted Trump’s hate in a scathing op-ed in The New York Times. “[Trump] knows he is failing,” she wrote. “And so he is reverting to what he knows best: trying to divert attention by stoking bigotry.” Omar added: “We will not let Mr. Trump intimidate or debilitate us. We are not afraid. After all, Minnesotans not only welcome refugees, they also sent one to Congress.”
Trump’s reckless tariffs are a tax on Americans—plain and simple. But they’re also being used as an excuse for greedy corporations to excessively raise their prices on working folks. To fight back, Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez introduced the No GOUGE Act to “protect consumers and small businesses from corporations that use tariffs as cover to price gouge everyday Americans.”
AOC said: “Trump campaigned on lowering costs for consumers, but his policies in office are having the opposite effect: squeezing consumers and small businesses who can’t afford to keep up—while large corporations that make billions in profits pass higher prices on to working people.”
During an interview aired Sunday, Dem Sen. Tammy Duckworth slammed Trump and Hegseth over their military strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean.
Duckworth said: “Everything that they’ve done has been illegal. It’s illegal under international law. It’s illegal under the Geneva Convention. And it certainly is illegal even under domestic law. It was essentially murder.”
And Duckworth added: “It is a war crime … I’ve been shot down behind enemy lines. Under the laws of war … you are supposed to help render aid … you’re not allowed to go back in and kill them.”
Duckworth isn’t afraid to speak the truth and neither are we. For the last decade, we’ve stood up to Trump and his goons—refusing to let them rewrite history or bury their crimes. We deliver the facts that others are too scared to print, while mobilizing a massive resistance to hold them all accountable.

What do you think about AOC’s No GOUGE Act?
If you renamed a holiday song to slam the Trump regime, what would you title it?
