I’ve been a prosecutor for a long time — so believe me when I say that something is fishy with the way that Donald Trump’s administration has handled the Jeffrey Epstein files.
FIRST:Donald Trump pledged he’d release the Epstein files if he won back the White House, only for his Attorney General to refuse to do so upon taking office.
THEN:It was revealed that Donald Trump’s own name was in the Epstein files.
NOW:Stunning reporting reveals that the Attorney General helped Donald Trump hide the files and evade accountability.
We need an investigation that makes Watergate look small.
We can’t let Donald Trump evade accountability just because he’s rich, powerful, and sits in the Oval Office. No one is above the law.
That’s why I’m raising my voice and fighting for truth and transparency — but I need to know that you stand with me.
Hi folks, it’s Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.
Philadelphia has recorded the fewest homicides in recent memory this year — a rate of violence that has plummeted to a pace the city has not seen since the 1960s.
And as homicides have fallen, so, too, have shootings. This year the city is on pace to record the fewest number of people shot in the last decade.
The reduction in violence comes as the city’s jail population is near its lowest level in recent memory.
Folks, our policies are working. And people are coming around to what WE have been saying all along: Prevention Matters.
I am so proud of the accomplishments we’ve made over the last few years. And I’m honored by the support I’ve gotten from grassroots supporters like you who were right from the start.
But my GOP-funded opponent, Patrick Dugan, wants to reverse all the progress we’ve made over the last few years. And with Trump’s MAGA donors writing huge check to defeat me this November, I need your help.
Hi, it’s Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.
Since I took office, my top priority has been to make our city not only safer but also fairer.
Right now, too many innocent people are suffering in jail. They don’t deserve this, especially not while the guilty go free.
I am proud to have helped exonerate more than 45 people during my tenure.
I’ve also facilitated a 50% decrease in future years of incarceration, a 66% decrease in future years of supervision on probation and parole, and a 70% reduction in the number of juveniles held in jail-like settings.
Under my administration, Philly has become safer, fairer, and more just.
And I’m just getting started.
I’m running for reelection because I know there are more innocent people who deserve to be exonerated, and there are more people we can help by fighting for justice.
Hi, it’s Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.
My opponent chose not to show up to our debate last night.
Think about that. He’s challenging my record as District Attorney. He wants to reverse course and send our city back to a time when crime was rampant, cops acted with impunity, and innocents languished in prison.
But he wouldn’t even participate in a debate to defend his positions?
I spoke forcefully about my efforts to build a Philadelphia that is Safer & Fairer. I defended my record as two-term district attorney and contrasted it with my opponent’s plans to bring back the tried-and-failed policies of the past.
Here’s the problem: With the primary just weeks away, and my opponent raising HUGE sums of money from Trump supporters and out-of-state Republican donors, this race is going to be close.
