Every summer, tens of thousands of caribou traverse miles of rugged, untamed terrain to birth their calves on the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.1 It's one of the last truly wild spaces on Earth, and it has once again been targeted for oil drilling. Help protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge by donating today. The Arctic Refuge is one of the most ecologically diverse places on the planet.2 In the absence of human interference, polar bears, musk oxen and countless species of migrating birds roam free. And yet a new proposal working its way through Congress would require oil drilling in this pristine wildlife habitat. That's why our national network is doubling down on our efforts to preserve the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for current and future generations. To succeed, we need your help. Donate now and help us protect this and other wild places. When it comes to protecting the Arctic Refuge and other untamed lands in Alaska, we have been staunch defenders before and we will be again.3 With your help, we will:
We have worked too long and too hard to stand by and see the wildness of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge sacrificed for more oil. Will you donate today and support our work to preserve our precious public lands? Thank you, Lisa Frank Your donation will be used to support all of our campaigns to protect the environment, from saving the bees and protecting public lands, to standing up for clean water and fighting climate change. None of our work would be possible without supporters like you. |
