THE UK NO LONGER OBJECTS TO THE ICC ISSUED ARREST WARRANTS....

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been busy. After calling for more U.S. weapons to continue his horrific war in Gaza and pushing the United States closer toward direct conflict with Iran, he’s now headed to Mar-a-Lago to meet with Trump.

The visit should never have happened. PM Netanyahu’s congressional address was an insult to every victim of his disastrous policies, every community mourning loved ones, and every advocate striving to build a more peaceful world. But while he and others plot a course for more war, we’re busy increasing our calls for diplomacy, a ceasefire, and peace.

The good news? We don’t work alone. You may already know Standing Together, Combatants for Peace, and Families Forum, three incredible groups we work with. More is below, but the simple truth is that we can’t create the change we need to truly keep people in Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, or the United States safe without partners like them.

We don’t know exactly what PM Netanyahu has planned next, but with violence rapidly increasing across the Middle East we need to be ready, and that means resources. That’s why yesterday we issued an urgent challenge to turn PM Netanyahu’s warmongering into an opportunity to raise $15,000 to build peace across Israel, Palestine, and beyond.

These funds will help ensure these three groups, along with Win Without War, can respond to calls for more war by taking our crucial calls for ceasefire to the next phase. Thanks to hundreds of activists like you, including a generous pair of donors who committed to matching the first $3,500, we’re already past the halfway mark — can you help us close the remaining gap today?

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:

The violence and suffering we’ve witnessed the past 292 days has sent the world on a knife’s edge. But in the face of so much pain, amongst our community are innovators, heroes — peacemakers.

These people are, in the face of losing everything, building the world we all want and deserve. That world includes a future where people in Israel and Palestine can have dignity while living and thriving without the fear of violence.

First, there’s Sally, a Palestinian, and Alon-Lee, who is Jewish, who founded Standing Together. This group of peace activists is — in the face of threats, harassment, and personal risk — speaking out and organizing Arab-Jewish solidarity groups and rallies across Israel. The New York Times has described their work as a path to build “enough popular political will to demand peace.”[1]

Also, Parents Circle – Families Forum, a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization of people who have lost close family members to the conflict. The Forum has over 700 families, and more have joined since October 7. These individuals confront the grief and horror of this war daily, but they choose reconciliation over retribution, and call on others to do the same.

Finally, Combatants for Peace, a joint Palestinian-Israeli community made up of former Israeli and Palestinian fighters, refuseniks, and non-violent activists working in solidarity to end the occupation, discrimination, and oppression — and are committed to co-creating a just peace. In an interview with Democracy Now’s Amy Goodman, their co-founder Avner shared why their work is so critical: “When people are fed with the idea that there is no choice but violence, there is only violence, to each other.”[2]. That’s why they choose solutions based on non-violence and human dignity.

Our team at Win Without War is honored to work alongside them in this critical moment — because we know that the impossible becomes achievable when we work together.

But ‘together’ also includes you. This community has raised over $15,000 for our four organizations since December. During PM Netanyahu’s visit this week, we’ve challenged you to help us DOUBLE that amount — and right now, we’re just $6,615 away from reaching this ambitious goal.

With your support, we’re changing the discussion about what ‘security’ really means, and building a world where people can thrive without the threat of violence.

The violence across Israel and Palestine is both unimaginable, imminent, and expanding across the region. More and more there’s simply nowhere for people to go, nowhere to be safe.

By donating through this email, you can support four organizations in this urgent moment of crisis. That means, if you donate $20 today, Win Without War, Standing Together, Combatants for Peace, and Families Forum will each receive $5 to fuel our shared work to create the political space for solutions rooted in peace, dignity, and justice. If you give more, our ability to make an impact increases too.

As PM Netanyahu heads home from a visit that never should have happened, we have one question: Will you join us to show up for peace today?

Thank you for working for peace,

The Win Without War team
