The 1,000 to 1 Ratio Is Killing RSN
For every 1,000 readers who come to RSN, 1 donates. It is causing an immediate funding crisis, right here, right now.
Yesterday 20,000 people came to RSN, 12 clicked the donation link and made a donation. If the number had been 30 the outlook would be a lot brighter.
Click the donation link and chip-in.

FOCUS: Greg Palast | Wisconsin "Movers" Voter Purge List Errors
Greg Palast, Greg Palast's Website
Palast writes: "On September 29, the Wisconsin Supreme Court will hear arguments on whether to require the cancellation of 129,000 voters' registrations on grounds that they have moved."
These voters were identified by a so-called “movers list” and did not respond to a postcard sent by the state Board of Elections. This “movers” list was obtained from a private entity, Electronic Registration Information Center [ERIC].
Until now, no one had tested the list to ask a simple question: Had these “movers” actually moved?
We retained five consulting firms expert in the field of Advanced Address List Hygiene. They analyzed a list of 153,779 voters we obtained from the Board of Elections in June 2020. The list of 129,000 voters subject to the Supreme Court case is a sub-set of this list, but our findings remain, in proportion, unchanged.
Summary
We found 39,722 Wisconsin voters who supposedly moved from their registration addresses, who, in fact, had not moved, a minimum 25.8% error rate based on the 153,779 “movers” list.
We identified a further 58,404 or 38% who had moved, but only within their county.
If even half of these moved locally, the error rate rises to 45.8%.
(Wisconsin law and the National Voter Registration Act prohibit cancelling the registration of those who move within their voting jurisdiction.)
Note: Our findings are based on the list of 153,779 voters on the “movers” list given to the Palast Fund by the Wisconsin Board of Elections. The list has been whittled down from over 200,000 to 129,000. Having analyzed both lists our findings remain, in proportion, unchanged.
Race & Income Bias
In addition, as illustrated by the maps and graphs pictured on the right (click to enlarge), there is measurable bias against voters of color and low-income voters, and evidence of bias against young and student voters.
Report: Wisconsin “Movers” Voter Purge List Errors
The Palast Investigative Fund, a 501c3 non-partisan, not-for-profit, has created a report of our investigation of the list compiled by ERIC of Wisconsin citizens who are subject to purge, which has been submitted to the Black Voters Matter Fund.
Lead investigator Greg Palast and Black Voters Matter Fund co-founders, LaTosha Brown and Cliff Albright, will be holding a joint video press conference on Monday, September 28 at 9 AM PT / 11 AM CT / 12 PM ET to go through the report's findings. If you'd like to participate contact us at: media@gregpalast.com
Purge Search Website
Given that most Wisconsin voters whose right to vote is under threat will have no idea that they are on the state's purge list, as a public service, the Palast Investigative Fund has created a website, SaveMyVote2020.org, to allow voters to look up their names and addresses to see if they're on the list. The site also provides links for these voters to re-register online if need be.
