Mississippi is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold its mail-in ballot grace period, which allows mail-in ballots to be counted if they're sent back by voters by Election Day and received by officials shortly after. Mississippi is fighting back against a challenge from the Republican National Committee to strike down the law.
