I'm a 73 year old woman who took great care with her health, eating well, being active, not needing any medications, until I was surprised with stage 3 cancer a year ago. without medicare and medicaid, I would not be here today. I'm really disgusted when I hear these idiots talk.

Once upon a time we had presidents that respected the people, looked for answers and came up with solutions, and never turned their backs on veterans, etc. Once upon a time there were American citizens that listened to reasoning and fought back against the hate and ugliness of others, they called themselves Republicans. Many people don't realize that we pay for Medicare in every single paycheck. We also pay $185.00 per month (or more depending on if you're still working) for Medicare when we're old enough to get it. Medicare is not free for seniors and we are paying our fair share now and always have throughout our working life. Hands off OUR Medicare and Social Security.
