Last night, this movement chose hope.

Charles Booker

Thank you. I can't say thank you enough.

Last night, against the odds, we hit our FEC end-of-quarter fundraising goal. This was no small feat, and I am blown away by the power of this movement.

Especially at this moment, we know how easy it is to feel hopeless about our future. But last night, this movement chose hope.

A record number of supporters chipped in to help push us over the edge and fund our fight to create a new kind of politics, a kind that works for all of us. Together, we sent a powerful message that it’s time to end Rand Paul’s failed leadership and replace him with a leader who will proudly vote to protect abortion rights, cancel student debt, and fight for justice in our communities.

It’s never been more clear that we are the people to beat Rand Paul.

Whether you chipped in $5, made a couple phone calls, or just signed up to be on our email list — please know your support means the world to me. It was one year ago exactly when I made the announcement that I’m thinking about running against Rand Paul.

Since then, we’ve beaten every expectation and naysayer who said Kentucky is a “red state.” Together, we’re showing the country that a new era of leadership is coming to Kentucky and the political establishment how strong grassroots donors can be.

This is our time to fight, to stand, to believe, to lock arms, and to say that we matter. This is about our future. This is about US.

I can’t wait to see what we accomplish next.

Talk to you soon,

Charles
