Massive Anti-Trump Protests Erupt Everywhere and More Great NewsOnward! Before we start another week of Musk and Trump’s chaos, I’m happy to bring you a lot of good news today. I hope it makes your day better! Thanks so much for reading. Let’s dive in. The Supreme Court in Wisconsin upheld Gov. Tony Evers’ creative veto, which will increase school funding for every student—for 400 years. Evers said: “Doing what’s best for our kids is what’s best for our state, and I will never stop fighting to do more for our kids and our schools.” Six of the men who violently removed Dr. Teresa Borrenpohl from a town hall in Idaho were charged with battery—four of them for false imprisonment—and other offenses. The Sheriff has yet to be held accountable. All across America, incredible people are stepping up to fight back against this unhinged Trump regime. Here are just a few examples of folks helping lead the charge: Dem Sen. Elizabeth Warren made an appearance on CNBC, where she schooled co-host Sara Eisen for falsely claiming Trump has the ultimate authority over tariffs. Warren fired back: “No, he does not. He does not have the authority if Congress does not let him keep this authority. We can take this away.” Eisen then tried to defend Trump’s attacks on Harvard, spouting a line about antisemitism. Warren had more than enough, stating: “You know what, instead of just mouthing off about what you think is happening, actually present some evidence.” Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett torched the Trump regime for attempting to deport more immigrants with no due process. Crockett said she’s “glad the Supreme Court stepped in,” and lambasted Republicans for “following a convicted felon like he’s the Second Coming. You can’t scream ‘law and order’ while breaking the law at every turn.” Dem Sen. Adam Schiff is still blocking maga cult member Ed Martin from becoming the U.S. Attorney for DC, saying: “When you step into the courtroom … you do not introduce yourself as on behalf of Donald Trump. [Martin] is disqualified, and I’m going to do everything to stop his confirmation.” Senior US District Judge David Ezra, a Reagan appointee, called out a GOP Rep. for threatening to impeach judges. “Do I think what I’ve said today may well cause ... a declaration of impeachment against me? Maybe. Bring it on. I’m more than happy.” In other news, conservative columnist David Brooks wrote an op-ed in The New York Times, titled: “What’s Happening Is Not Normal. America Needs an Uprising That Is Not Normal.” The part I wanted to highlight is where he wrote: “It’s time for Americans in universities, law, business, nonprofits and the scientific community, and civil servants and beyond to form one coordinated mass movement. Trump is about power. The only way he’s going to be stopped is if he’s confronted by some movement that possesses rival power.” Things are headed in that direction, for sure. And yesterday’s anti-Trump protests around the world proved it. Turnout was huge, even though it’s a holiday weekend. Hundreds of demonstrations were planned in all 50 states, DC, and internationally. Our awesome subscriber Ruth was at the protest in Naples, FL, and told us that more than a thousand people turned out in the “ruby-red” area. Ruth said the “crowd (was) on fire.” Thank you so much Ruth for showing up and reporting back! There was a renewed energy and resolve in the crowds. This is true anger—fury at Trump, his entire failing regime, and Republicans in Congress who have abdicated their duties. But I also saw a lot of hope, grit, and passion—beyond measure. The protests should be the first thing mentioned on all Sunday shows. But corporate media barely covered them, because they were too busy kissing Trump’s ring, spreading his propaganda, and downplaying the power of our movement. That's why, every single day, we cut through Trump’s lies to bring you the good news. Unlike corporate media, we will never give Trump or his cult an inch. And we don’t stop there—we use our platform to make a difference. Our unmatched social media campaigns generate billions of impressions every month, plus our massive Contact Congress campaign has sent 270,949 letters, and made tens of thousands of calls. All to push back against this regime. We’re building momentum, but we need all hands on deck. Our work is 100% funded by our paid subscribers on Substack. We’re completely independent, with no outside investors, and we remain ad-free. So if you haven’t yet, please join us as a paid subscriber today: No matter how you subscribe, thanks for being on the right side of history. Onward! Scott |
