New RNC co-chair Lara Trump may have accidentally destroyed her father-in-law Donald Trump's claims of immunity during an interview this week. Lara went on Fox News to whine about the Biden administration spending money on get out the vote efforts, and said that if Trump ever tried to use tax dollars to sway the outcome of an election Democrats would lose their minds. Legal experts were quick to point out that this means that Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election results were those of a campaigning candidate, NOT of a sitting president, and that could seriously hurt his immunity claims.
