They Want Me Gone… MeidasTouch Network and Ben Meiselas Sep 27 By Ben Meiselas I said earlier this week that Trump would come after the MeidasTouch Network imminently. They want me gone. We are the top independent media network in the world, and they want me out. They want me to disappear. We aren’t going anywhere. Also, thanks everyone for subscribing to this Substack and keeping Meidas the most-viewed news network in the world. I explained that a credible source told me the White House viewed us as one of the “biggest leftist groups” that the DOJ would attack. I said that before all the news about Comey’s indictment broke and before Trump and Bondi said they were going to go after the “leftist groups.” I don’t consider us a “leftist group.” I consider us a pro-democracy group. But I know we are at the top of Trump’s list to go after, as he sees us as the biggest impediment to his dictatorship. They see us as the leader of independent news, and they want to take us out to send a message to others. I have prepared my family for what I expect will happen. They are already used to the frequent death threats and harassment. We are prepared, and we are ready. The MeidasTouch Network Editor-in-Chief Ron Filipkowski wrote the following yesterday: “A pattern is developing where everyone who fights back against a Trump attack inevitably wins with their reputation much better than before, and everyone who caves to him looks like shit and has Trump coming back for more a month later.” Ron, as usual, is spot on. Now, more than ever, we must resist like our lives depend on it, because they do. We know how Trump is destroying the lives of the American people and people throughout the world, and we don’t treat the MeidasTouch Network like it’s just a job. We view the growth and success, and what our team does each day, as an existential matter necessary to defend what remains of our country and then to rebuild.
