Trump And His Regime May Be Heading Towards A Legitimacy Crisis

Congress returns to a series of crises on Monday, and must act with great speed and ambition now

The bottom line - it’s possible that the events of the past few weeks may be pushing Trump and his rancid regime towards a legitimacy crisis.

Consider:

1 - Public rebukes, no confidence votes, Congressional chaos - Senate roll back of the tariffs; entire Congress voting to force him to end the Epstein cover up; a blow out election; having to defend a +22 Trump seat in Tennessee; Kennedy repeatedly skewered in Senate hearings; MTG’s emergence as an opposition leader; utter chaos on health care and the budget in Congress.

2 - The newly released Epstein emails directly implicate Trump in Epstein’s sex trafficking ring, confirm that he and Bondi have been lying and covering all this up, and that Epstein may have turned over compromising information about him to the Kremlin.

3 - Bad economy, higher prices, gutting of health care, rising electricity prices all likely to get worse for Trump in the coming months. Consumer sentiment already lowest in 65 years:

4 - We got confirmation of high level crimes by Hegseth and Noem this week:

5 - Erratic public comments and behavior raising unprecedented concerns about his mental and physical health, fitness to govern:

6 - Deepening understanding of how corrupt and dangerous his selling out to Putin is (see this new jawdropping WSJ story - gift link).

It is now clear as day that Trump has betrayed the country, is UNCONCERNED with the national security of the United States, and can no longer be trusted with protecting us from our global adversaries.

7 - The tearing down of the East Wing, the desecration of the world’s most important symbol of democracy, and his maniacal - and illegal - crusade to build himself a gilded ballroom has become unhinged and monstrous:

8 - Trump and GOP’s poll numbers are collapsing, akin to the aftermath of a major scandal. 4 major polls had him in the 30s this week, 3 at 35%-36%:

• 35%-62% (-27) ARG

• 35%-56% (-21) High Point University

• 36%-60% (-24) Gallup

• 38%-57% (-19) Econ/YouGov

In the new Gallup poll released yesterday Trump dropped 11 points in the past month, a staggering decline:

And if he thinks that somehow invading Venuezuela will change the subject, make him STRONG and MANLY and BELOVED again, he is very, very wrong. An attack on Venezuela is less popular than his handling of inflation:

Not sure the right words to use to describe what we are seeing - desperation, unraveling, collapse, loss of legitimacy. But what I do know is that when Congress returns on Monday it must act with both great speed and ambition to challenge this weakened regime; mitigate the damage they continue to do; and loudly take the side of America and the American people against these corrupt, traitorous gangsters stripping this once great country for parts.

People are pissed, and we need to keep fighting.
