Reflecting on this summer, Trump was convinced we’d be gone. He was positive he would crush his opposition and resistance. He has failed. More importantly, where the heck is he? He’s been suspiciously away from the cameras and the media since last Wednesday. He has posted old golf photos from two weeks ago and last month and has claimed they were from this weekend. Just as we made the Epstein files the center of our coverage for many years, we’ve focused on Trump’s apparent severe cognitive and physical issues at the center of our coverage as well. We were criticized by corporate news and others for focusing on this. It was the right thing to cover, and we’ve been vindicated for covering it. I don’t care what corporate news is covering now since we get more views than them anyway. In short, the resistance is stronger than ever. Trump appears to be deeply unwell. I’m proud of you. Next, let’s chat Labor Day. MeidasTouch is relentlessly fighting for the labor movement. I make it a priority to bring union leaders on my program. I featured AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler’s State of Unions speech in a live breaking news segment last week. Corporate news rarely covers these speeches and the fights of the labor movement. This is why I’ve made it one of my biggest priorities to highlight the work being done by labor and the messages from labor leaders while calling out the harm to labor by Trump. We need to empower labor leaders and unions and always champion workers. Lastly, where do we go from here? This week we will cover the Epstein and Ghislaine victims speaking out on Capitol Hill. Make sure to watch our stream. We will have the leaders of MoveOn, Indivisible, and 50501 on Meidas to announce the next peaceful protests, which will be bigger than No Kings. We will keep building the fiercest resistance in the history of the United States. Meidas will be the main news network for it, and we will use our position to continue to be a positive and unifying force.  Many of the laborers were immigrants from many countries. They worked for little money and were often forced to work overtime hours without extra pay. The unions stopped the companies from not paying what the workers were working for or worth. At least close to it. The unions stood up for the workers and they were so helpful in the fight against the owners of the companies.

I say the people that are getting deported some may be criminals some may have come here illegally but many are not the people that should be deported. They deserve the due process our constitution regulates for the people not just citizens only because we do not know each person’s situation and if we are doing the right thing by deporting them. Please help with the governments that have overpowered , overreached and stand in a protest soon. We all need to do our part to make America the democratic republic it was made to be. Make America the best we can make it to be.

I worked for DOL for about 20 years and every year, even after retirement was asked to celebrate the day by watching the parade from the roof of Main Labor.

Would you also consider starting a movement for Medical Privacy? It is Not abortion. It is Not forced birth. Medical Privacy is bipartisan and would help all genders, races, and socioeconomic classes. It would better promote physical and mental health for all of us. Thank you for whatever you can do.

Medical privacy could start by not giving out our personal information to so-called providers (even fictitious companies that defraud Medicare) that call us relentlessly to entice us to switch to Advantage plans. I’m not looking for advice on how to block their calls.

There is growing sentiment in the whole senate,(including reBUMliCON's) & other cabinet members who are beginning to say outloud that rfk Jr needs to go... I was reading multiple places that quiet whispers are becoming common conversation among many ... we'll see, I guess! I have not delved too deeply myself, I have been watching my grandsons so their mom, my only daughter, can work 3 different gigs while still struggling! Her ex is spotty with child support on top of it all too, he takes the kids,(just turned 11 in June, almost 10 in October, just turned 8 in March), 3 wkends/of 4.. Fridays from 5ish, (but has been as late as 9 before), to Sundays at firm 5!! And complains if she is late or not home to drop them off exactly at 5!

To clarify my concerns: Corporations, insurance companies, attorneys, clergy, and politicians are practicing medicine without a license. The government is telling medical professionals what to prescribe, when to prescribe, and requiring so much documentation that doctors, nurses, Phys Assistants, and staff have too little time for patients.

They are beleaguered and solo practices are being put out of business and bought by corporations b/c profit not health for people is the goal.

Medical Privacy is not just about sharing information, since HIPAA is a farce and means no privacy, as K Sorensen highlights well. Medical privacy is about returning the practice of medicine to people educated/trained for it. The government (politicians and the Supreme Court, etc.) should not be forcing birth or upholding abortion. That is a decision for prospective parents and the medical professional, trained in health care, not the clergy person, state, or federal lawmaker.

I think more attention needs to be focused on Stephen Miller. I have no doubt that he is white supremacist and is the driving force behind the deportation of all immigrants. While I somewhat agree with removing dangerous criminals, the majority of those being removed are hard working immigrants along with innocent children.
