Tell Congress: Oppose the JUDGES Act2

 

In his first term, Donald Trump appointed over 200 judges and packed the Supreme Court with three MAGA justices. In the coming weeks, Trump will appoint even more judges—and they’re expected to be younger and more loyal to Trump than ever before.1 Now, Congressional Republicans are pushing the JUDGES Act, a bill that would create 22 new federal judgeships for Trump to fill before his term is up. They’re hell-bent on giving him even more unchecked power and influence over the judiciary. Trump’s impact on our judicial system has already been devastating. The MAGA-packed Court has spent the last four years ripping at the fabric of our democracy—gutting voting rights, overturning Roe v. Wade, allowing billionaires to buy our elections, and even granting broad presidential immunity. We can’t afford to let Trump rubber-stamp nearly two dozen loyal MAGA judges that could make life harder for the communities hardest hit by his hateful agenda.
