On Uncovered today, we talked about how Musk is working the levers of power behind the scenes to have NASA finance his childhood dream of colonizing Mars, and how US trade negotiators are also strong arming countries to buy Starlink if they want tariffs waived. I also talked about what is really going on with the Houthi bombings in Yemen, Trump’s lies about that, and the two fighter jets and multiple drones we have lost fighting a proxy war for Israel. We also talked about Trump’s ridiculous Alcatraz scheme, and I gave the origin stories behind it and the reasons why it is such a dumb idea from a practical standpoint. I also talked about my personal knowledge of Pam Bondi as a long time criminal lawyer in FL, and why everything she says is complete BS. We also talked about how Trump’s cabinet spends all their time on Fox and doing press conferences while their agencies are a disaster because they are unqualified to do their jobs and lazy. I talked about the backstory that led to Trump announcing tariffs on movies made overseas, with the role Jon Voight played in the whole thing.
We talked about why Trump’s nominee for DC US Attorney is likely to fail and how that is going to impact the Senate elections next year. Also had a pretty good discussion about Canada PM Mark Carney’s trip to the Oval Office, some of the things that were said in that meeting, and trade negotiations in general. I talked about Trump posting the AI picture of himself as Pope, his statements about it, as well as reaction from prominent officials in the Catholic church. We also talked about Trump’s general strategy of blaming everything on Biden which has filtered down to his cabinet officials, and I gave some of the backstory on that from covering him for the last 4 years.
