I hope I made you proud on the debate stage tonight.
I went out there to make the case for our movement and our bold, progressive agenda. Justice is on the ballot, and that is what we are fighting for.
Joe Kennedy once again failed to make a positive argument for himself. Once again he could not explain why he is in this race.
Instead, he is attacking our campaign with negative smears and hiding behind his super PAC’s negative ads.
Joe Kennedy refused to directly ask his own father not to transfer millions from his father’s old campaign fund into that super PAC.
And let’s be clear: that money is full of donations from fossil fuel companies. Accepting that money is accepting a fossil-fueled campaign.
Joe Kennedy sees our momentum and is desperately saying and doing whatever it takes to stop us. We cannot let that happen.
But that means we need your help to fight back against his big-money machine:
We’re facing down nearly $6 million in spending on just TV ads from our opponents, and the only chance we have to fight back is with lots and lots of donations from people like you.
