Our campaign is growing!
We're proud to share our latest endorsement updates with you. All of these endorsements across our newly redistricted neighborhood clearly shows that our progressive movement is what's best for our community — and the people agree.
Jamaal and our movement has brought together a number of local elected officials, labor unions, and progressive organizations from all over the country who are key actors in our efforts to build up our multi-racial, multi-class democracy.
But before we jump into the most recent endorsement updates, we have to ask you for one favor. Our election is now only FOUR days away, and we need to the support of our full grassroots movement if we want to ensure Jamaal can stay in Congress. Can we count on you to show your support with a rushed donation of $10 or more today?
Here are just the few of the latest:
- MoveOn is a leading progressive action group, formed in 1998. They have mobilized millions of people to push for a progressive and inclusive future. MoveON members believe that Jamaal's ‘get it done' ethos represents the best of what it means to be a New York Congressman.
- The United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 1500 is the largest grocery union in New York, representing over 20,000 employees in New York state. The UFCW believes that Jamaal has been a fierce advocate for essential workers in Ny-16 and across the state.
- 13 local elected officials from cities and towns all across NY-16 have endorsed Jamaal and our movement for reelection. No one understands the specific needs of their communities better than these local leaders and national organizations. And Jamaal has been proud to partner with many of these elected officials to continue delivering for the people.
This is the kind of leadership we need — not complacent conservatives who would strip away at our progress if it means they can make an extra buck.
Since Jamaal joined the movement for true progressive change, we've seen him follow through on building solutions for key issues like inequality, climate change, health care, and economic justice. We've seen him continue to deliver real, tangible results — securing hundreds of millions of dollars for crucial projects all around NY-16.
NY-16 and communities like it need our progressive voice now more than ever, and we have four days left to show the true power of our campaign before the polls open. Let's make sure that we can keep fighting for the transformational change and progress we deserve. Please chip in today to help power our movement.
In solidarity,
Bowman for Congress
