Tell Rand he can't run away:

 

Rand Paul has said on the record that he doesn't know if he'll debate me. Why is he so scared?

It's pretty obvious: Rand knows the people are tired of his mess. They know that I will expose him onstage for who he really is: a liar and a fraud.

Unlike Rand, I don't back down from a fight, not when our communities are on the line. He wouldn't even take to the stage at Fancy Farm. Let's call it what it is: he's a coward.

It's time the people of Kentucky got some answers from Rand. That's why today, we are officially calling on Rand Paul to publicly debate me.

A sitting Senator shouldn't be afraid of a fair debate. That's exactly why I'm going to replace him.

In May, you helped us make history when I became the first Black Kentuckian to win the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate. Since then, Rand has done everything possible to ensure he never has to face me.

Rand can't run away forever. But he's going to do his best to dodge his responsibilities, like he always does. It's our job to hold his feet to the fire. So let's show him exactly what we're capable of.
