Today in Politics, Bulletin 228. 10/13/25
… The upcoming No Kings protests this Saturday continue to rattle Republicans who are stressing out that the size and scope of the events will step on their messaging about the shutdown. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy on Fox: “The No Kings protest is really frustrating. This is part of Antifa, paid protesters. It begs the question, who’s funding it?”
… Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: “No Kings means no paychecks. No paychecks and no government.”
… This comes after Speaker Mike Johnson went on the Sunday shows and called them ‘marxist, hate America’ rallies.
… Sen. Bernie Sanders: “No, Speaker Johnson. The No Kings Rally on Oct. 18th is not a ‘hate America’ rally’. It’s a rally of millions of people all over this country who are not going to let you and Trump turn this country into an authoritarian society.”
… Former Rep. Tom Malinowski: “At the last No Kings ‘hate America’ rally I attended - in Morristown, NJ - I led the entire crowd in an oath to the U.S. Constitution. I know some House Republicans who could use a refresher.”
… It has been interesting to watch the Coordinated Republican Propaganda Machine continue to shift their messaging on No Kings. The first one they tried to ignore but the size of it caught them completely off guard. So they just lied about the turnout, but people have eyes. The second one they claimed was just a bunch of white boomer grandmothers. That didn’t stick either (although I saw a few of you out there!) so now they are claiming it is all paid Antifa operatives coordinating with Schumer and Jeffries, who have had nothing to do with any of it really.
WOW! MAGA GOP ARE THAT BRAIN DEAD!
… Meanwhile, the war zone in Portland continues to be completely out of control.
THANK YOU PORTLAND!
… Duffy then talked about the US spending a fortune on one of Elon Musk’s priorities to facilitate a mission to Mars - building a nuclear plant on the moon: “If we go to the south pole of the moon, we can set up a base. We want to put up fission power. We think we can have long term stays on the south pole of the moon.”
… People just want affordable health care, housing, electricity and groceries right now. And we are bailing out Argentina and talking about putting nukes on the moon.
… Despite that, Duffy still plans on making big budget cuts to his agency here on earth: “We’re going to make the necessary cuts - if there’s people that we employ that we can get rid of and do the same job with less people saving the govt money, that’s critically important. You can let people go that aren’t great employees.”
… Duffy also said we can expect airport delays to get much worse soon: “When you travel though, we will slow you down. We will cancel flights. We want to make sure that you when you travel, you travel safely. And so if we don’t have the controllers necessary to keep you safe, we slow it down. And that’s what you see with those delays.”
… Both the Seattle and Portland Airports announced they will not air DOG KILLER Kristi Noem’s video, which clearly violates the Hatch Act by trashing Democrats to travelers and blaming them for flight delays. It is optional for each airport on whether they choose to play them, so I would suggested finding out if the one in your area is going along with this blatantly illegal and partisan scheme.
… Labor market analyst Amanda Goodall: “WTF! Hiring just hit the lowest level since 2009. Only 204,939 hires so far in 2025. That’s a 58% collapse year on year. Worse than anything since the financial crisis. The data’s out there... and no one’s ready to admit what it means. No data = no panic… right?”
… Mike Johnson held his daily shutdown press conference today: “We worked on repealing and replacing Obamacare in 2017. I still have PTSD from the experience. It’s a great frustration of mine. American healthcare needs dramatic reform. We have plans to do it. The Republican Party is the party that has plans to fix it.”
… He has still never presented a plan since 2017. Trump has never presented a plan. They claimed for a decade that they want to repeal and replace it, but they have nothing to replace it with.
… Johnson then said the quiet part out loud: “Can we completely repeal and replace Obamacare? Many of us are skeptical about that now, because the roots are so deep, it was really sinister, the way it was created. I believe Obamacare was created to implode upon itself, to collapse upon itself.”
… “Roots are so deep” = really freaking popular.
… “Really sinister, the way it was created” = A Black man did it.
… This is what I have been saying all year. Republicans know they can’t repeal the ACA because it has become so popular and helped many uninsured working Americans and people with preexisting conditions get healthcare. So their plan is to choke off funding for it and dismantle it piece by piece rather than in one big shot. That is what Democrats are fighting to stop in this shutdown.
DON'T TRUST REPUBLICANS ON HEALTH CARE!
… Rep. Hakeem Jeffries on MSNBC: “Well, there’s definitively no reason to ever trust the Republicans, particularly as it relates to the health care issue and the ACA. These are people who have now tried more than 70 different times over the last 15 years to repeal the ACA.”
… Jeffries was asked about Rep. Marge Greene’s recent break with Republicans on the ACA subsidies after hearing from her constituents: “It does seem to many of us that she’s had a surprisingly enlightened few weeks.”
… Q: “At the end of this week it will have been a month since the House has been out. Why are you keeping the House out if you have a lot of other work to do? Are you saying you can’t work on appropriations and other things while the govt is shut down? Johnson: House Republicans have been very busy, they’re doing some of their best work in their district.”
… Mike Johnson has convened the House for only 12 of the last 80 days. The Epstein Shutdown. 68 days off with full pay and benefits over 80 days is a pretty good gig for House Republicans.
… HuffPost: “Some Republican House members are questioning Johnson’s stay-away strategy as the possibility looms that they’ll spend another week back in their districts. Early polling suggests more people blame Republicans for the standoff. During a conference call on Thursday, several other Republican House members reportedly told the speaker he should bring them back to Washington.”
… Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA), who is in trouble if CA’s redistricting plan passes in a couple of weeks: “The Speaker shouldn’t even think about cancelling the session for a third straight week.”
… One House Republican, who spoke on condition of anonymity: “I think it makes sense for at least appropriators to be doing stuff.”
… Rep. Jay Obernolte (R-CA): “I think we’re gonna get to a point where it’s damaging to continue to keep the House out of session. I think we’ve gotten to that point.”
… Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-VA): “I’m urging the Speaker and our House leadership to immediately pass my bill to ensure our service members, many of whom live paycheck to paycheck while supporting their families, receive the pay they’ve earned.”
… “Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) has said he supports a standalone troops bill, while Speaker Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) oppose it.”
… Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) on Fox: “I am someone that’s trying to keep relationships with people on all sides, because I think there’s a real problem on trust right now. But why are we out of session? We should be in session, having discussions, be at that table.”
… Jeffries was asked on MSNBC how negotiations are going with Mike Johnson: Q - “Have you met with Mike Johnson? Jeffries: No. Q - Why not? Jeffries: Because Donald Trump has not given them permission to meet.”
… Trump on AF1 flying to Israel: “Boy, she asks a lot of questions. Who are you with? Dasha Burns: Politico. I’m Dasha Burns, sir. Trump: Dasha, Politico, ugh. Politico has gone bad. They’ve been so wrong about everything. Let’s get somebody else to ask some questions. Politico is fake news. Burns: Sir, talk to Karoline. She will vouch for me.”
… Aaron Rupar: “Dasha Burns said she talked with Trump on the phone 4 days ago, but now he doesn’t know who she is.”
… Trump: “I don’t think there’s anything that’s gonna get me in heaven. I think I’m not heaven bound. I’m not sure I’m gonna be able to make heaven.”
… More proof about how bad the Epstein files are for Trump.
… Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX): “I agree (wow first MTG and now DJT) no pearly white gates for the Mean Manic Mad Mango Man! I wonder how and why anyone would buy those Trump Bibles, he’s definitely never read any portion of one. In the word it says, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Welp - he’s definitely not done anything good for the ‘least, only those with the MOST get his help… the rest will get harmed.’ Matthew 25:40.”
… Trump on Ukraine: “They’d like to have Tomahawks. We talked about that. We’ll see. I might have to speak to Russia, to be honest with you, about Tomahawks. Do they want to have Tomahawks going in their direction? I don’t think so.”
… Q - “Has Qatar changed their behavior from 2017 when you accused them of funding terrorism? Trump: In 2017, I didn’t really know them very well. As I got to know them, I got to understand them.”
… Trump suddenly changed his mind about them after a free jet and a $5.5 billion Trump resort in Qatar.
… CNN’s Daniel Dale: “Trump told an imaginary story minutes ago about how the first time he met Egypt’s Sisi: He said Sisi was supposed to meet Hillary Clinton too but ‘liked me so much he never even got to see Hillary’ or saw her for ‘about two seconds.’ Sisi actually met with Clinton before he met Trump that day, and spoke with Clinton for more than 70 minutes, 2016 news reports and tweets show.”
… Trump also suggested big changes at CBS after the merger: “Who is going to be the head anchor as CBS? Not Norah O’Donnell. Larry Ellison is great and his son is great. They’re friends of mine. They’re big supporters of mine and they’ll do the right thing.”
… When he arrived in Egypt, Trump touted that country’s criminal justice system as a model for the US: “They have very little crime. Because they don’t play games. That’s why. They don’t play games like we do in the US with governors that have no idea what they’re doing.”
… New slogan: Make America Egypt.
… Trump then greeted the delegate from UAE, which put $2 billion into Trump’s crypto company, with this comment to the press while shaking his hand: “They got a lot of cash. Unlimited cash.”
… CBS: “At least 153 unvaccinated students exposed to measles in South Carolina schools are quarantining. Officials confirmed these students were exposed contacts without immunity, leaving them to be excluded from school until the period of potential disease transmission has ended.”
… “Earlier this year, the US recorded the most measles cases in more than 30 years, CDC data showed. A large share of the infections were connected to an outbreak in West Texas that led to the deaths of two children. CDC data shows about 93% of kindergarteners in the US were vaccinated against measles during the 2021-2022 school year and only 92.7% in the 2023-2024 school year. This is down from 95.2% during the 2019-2020 school year - a critical threshold to keep people safe.”
… CDC: “When more than 95% of people in a community are vaccinated, most people are protected through community immunity (herd immunity).” According to the latest South Carolina briefing, the upstate region has only about 90% immunity, leaving the community vulnerable to the virus spreading.”
… Rep. Marge Greene (R-GA): “Parents should not be required to force vaccinate their children to attend school, play sports and activities, attend camps, and participate in life. Vaccines cause irreparable harm to many children.”
My news feed today was 99% Israel/Gaza, and while that is a very important story in the world, the point of this Bulletin is to cover American politics. I included a couple of things Trump said over there that are relevant to US politics, but as far as the details of the quagmire we seem to be getting into in the Middle East - I will leave that to the rest of the media to report on all day as if it is the only thing happening in the world.
As far as that goes, all I will say is that with all things Trump - the devil is in the details. Witkoff met with Hamas leaders and after that meeting they agreed to free the hostages. That is giving me Trump/Taliban deal vibes - what exactly did we promise Hamas in that closed-door meeting? What did Arab countries promise Trump personally? What are we getting ourselves into over the next several months/years? How long before Kushner starts building condos in Gaza and how will Hamas respond to that?
I expect I will have more to say about all that on Uncovered on Wednesday. If you missed yesterday’s Bulletin, you can find it here.
… WaPo, NY Times, The Atlantic, CNN, Guardian, Breaking Defense, and even Newsmax (!) among others issued statements today that they will refuse to comply with Pete Hegseth’s new rules mandating that their reporting on the Pentagon and military issues be submitted for screening and approval by DOD. So far the only media company I am aware of who has signed it is right-wing OAN.”
… Newsmax: “Newsmax has no plans to sign the letter. We are working in conjunction with other media outlets to resolve the situation. We believe the requirements are unnecessary and onerous and hope that the Pentagon with review the matter further.”
… Crybaby snowflake Pete Hegseth posted a hand wave goodbye to each of their statements on social media.
… Fox: “Treasury secretary Scott Bessent has said that Trump and Xi Jinping still plan to meet this month in South Korea despite a recent flare-up in trade tensions between the world’s two biggest economies: “I believe that meeting will still be on.”
… Bessent on Fox: “This admin wants to do something for the farmers. The Chinese have unfortunately turned our soybean farmers into pawns. They are trying manipulate them. And our farmers overwhelmingly backed President Trump. We can’t implement the programs we want to for them. Schumer and Jeffries - they don’t care about the farmers.”
… Trump put many farmers out of business with his China tariffs. They only want to bail them out because they are overwhelmingly Trump voters. But they can’t bail them out as long as the shutdown continues. So now they are trying to blame Democrats for a problem that they caused. They only do this on days that end in ‘y’.
… Bessent: “Trying to get leverage in front of a meeting with Trump is a bad idea. And he turned the tables with his two very good tweets on Friday talking about raising tariffs and implementing any sanctions that we need to.”
… Bessent said that China was wrong to steal Trump’s headlines on Israel/Gaza when they announced new retaliatory trade measures: “We have approached the relationship with China with great respect. The Chinese are very big on symbolism, and I can tell you it was highly inappropriate for them to announce these export controls on the day the peace deal was announced and overshadow that.”
… NBC: “6 months into Trump’s unprecedented gambit to impose sizable tariffs on imports, US consumers are already shouldering as much as 55% of their costs, according to Goldman Sachs. And with new tariffs likely on the way, the cost burden could rise even higher. The findings suggest US consumers will continue to struggle with high prices - something Trump had promised to address in the run-up to his re-election.”
… “While inflation rates have come down from the post-Covid peak, they have remained stuck above levels economists consider healthy, causing consumers and businesses alike to continue to report feeling burdened by price increases. Over the past 6 months, Trump has imposed tariffs on copper, steel, aluminum, and some autos and auto parts. He has also levied country-specific tariff rates of as much as 28% on China and 16% on much of the rest of the world.”
… “Consumer prices tracked by the Bureau of Labor Statistics have increased every month since April, when Trump made his ‘Liberation Day’ speech announcing the new duties. Exporters are bearing some cost, along with US businesses, who may actually be sparing consumers even worse price increases for the moment. American companies may be waiting to see how the Supreme Court rules on tariffs, the Goldman analysts said.”
… “Still, the analysts estimate tariffs have added 0.44% to the Fed’s preferred inflation measure. That figure could rise to as much as 0.6% if Trump makes good on recent threats to impose tariffs on products such as furniture and kitchen cabinets. Those were set to take effect Tuesday. In this scenario, the tariffs’ cost burden borne by consumers could rise to 70%.”
… CNBC on the US bailout of Argentina: “The immediate market reaction was for the peso to appreciate sharply against the dollar Friday. However, an exchange-traded fund pegged to the country’s industrial leaders, the Global X MSCI Argentina ETF, slumped Friday, indicating concerns that the American backstop may not be enough.”
… Joseph Brusuelas, chief economist at RSM: “It’s unclear why the Trump admin is providing a de facto bailout of the Argentinian peso when there is no significant financial or economic relationship between the two economies. It’s entirely unclear to me that Argentina will not choose to devalue its peso after its election later this. Therein lies one of the greater risks of providing $20 billion Treasury supported swap line to Buenos Aires.”
… There may not be a significant economic relationship between the two economies, but there is a significant economic relationship between Bessent’s friends’ investment portfolios and the Argentine economy.
… “In addition to economic and market matters, the US has a significant political stake in what’s happening in Argentina. Oct. 26 elections will determine the fate of President Javier Milei’s govt. The move also was met with criticism elsewhere, ranging from the soundness of the Argentinian political and economic system to the WH’s use of the Financial Stability Fund for the liquidity measure.”
… Rohit Chopra, director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: “While the govt is shut down, the Treasury Department officially started its bailout of Argentina. We are now actively pumping dollars into Argentina in exchange for the country’s plummeting peso, rather than helping people here at home.”
… Lakshya Jain, political data analyst for The Argument: “Graham Platner is a very high-ceiling candidate in Maine with a lot of potential. He’s also extremely untested and while he looks promising for Democrats, it’s pretty important to have a primary here to see if there are any red flags that bubble up.”
… I think that Jain makes a good point. We don’t always know much about first-time candidates until they are vetted, and they are usually vetted best by their opponents. If Republicans have dirt on these candidates, they are going to hold onto it and spring it in the general. That is why contested primaries - especially for new candidates - can be very useful because if there is dirt a primary opponent will often find it as well.
… It is also good experience for them to deal with press, debates, issues, etc. in a contested race before the general. It’s a lot easier to duck things when you don’t have a primary opponent.
… Project 2025 Director Paul Dans, who left Heritage Foundation after Trump got upset that he was telling people it was Trump’s agenda, is now running against Lindsey Graham in the Republican primary. He just posted this video: “Happy National Coming Out Day. Lindsey, I think it’s time for you to be honest with the voters of SC. There’s nothing to be ashamed about. Everybody knows. Just come out and admit it.”
… WaPo: “A historic wave of retirements and other departures has swept through the federal workforce in recent months, putting enormous strain on agencies as they cope with a new govt shutdown and admin layoffs. This mass exodus - unprecedented in its scale - includes 154,000 fed employees who accepted buyout offers and were largely removed from the payroll as of the end of last month. Some of those are among nearly 105,000 employees who took regular retirement during the fiscal year that ended in Sept, an 18% surge from the previous year.”
… Pam Bondi has more right-wing problems besides Epstein: “The National Assn for Gun Rights is officially calling for AG Pam Bondi to be FIRED. Those are not words we take lightly - but Bondi has given us no choice. While we all had major concerns with the nomination of Bondi as AG, we hoped for the best and that she would prove a staunch advocate for the right to keep and bear arms. Unfortunately, it’s been 9 MONTHS since Bondi was confirmed, and it has become increasingly evident that she has failed the 2nd Amendment.”
… “The straw that broke the camel’s back came this week, when she convinced a federal judge to demand the member lists of TWO national Second Amendment advocacy organizations. That’s right - Bondi’s DOJ successfully scored a court order for two gun groups to HAND OVER THEIR MEMBERS’ PRIVATE INFORMATION to the fed govt; in all likelihood names, addresses, contact info - everything.”
… WW News (Portland): “On Oct. 5, a Portland ambulance crew informed dispatchers over the radio that it was attempting to transport a patient from ICE custody to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center but that ICE officers were impeding its departure. An initial delay, the driver’s report indicated, stemmed from agents’ desire to ride in the ambulance to the hospital. The driver recalls responding that, in the absence of arrest paperwork, officers could not ride in the ambulance, and that an agent responded this was OK—that agents would follow the ambulance to the hospital instead.”
… But the point was evidently not resolved. Before long, an agent again said the ambulance needed to wait for an agent who would ride along: “At that point, a group of 5-8 civilian-dressed men walked into the garage and just stared at me. No ID on any of them. I walked back to the ambulance and got into the driver’s seat. I flipped the emergency lights on and put the car into drive. I inched forward slowly out of the garage.”
… “At this point, a man in civilian clothes with a neck wrap covering the lower part of his face stepped in front of the ambulance and told the driver to halt. The ambulance driver recalls telling the man not to stand in front of the ambulance, and that the man then yelled at the driver to stop, citing the risk of hitting federal agents.”
… Ambulance driver: “I was in such shock that they were not only accusing me of such a thing, but crowding and cornering me in the seat, pointing and screaming at me, threatening to shoot and arrest me, and not allowing the ambulance to leave the scene. This was no longer a safe scene, and in that moment, I realized that the scene had not actually been safe the entire time that they were blocking us from exiting, and that we were essentially trapped.”
… “The ambulance was eventually allowed to leave the building with the patient. But the crew’s written reports of the preceding minutes offer a small but revealing sign of how on edge some federal agents working in the ICE facility are feeling—and how quick they are to take an aggressive posture when they perceive a physical threat, even from a fellow emergency worker.”
… John Oliver slammed Bari Weiss’ takeover of CBS News to Variety: “I wouldn’t want anyone who led a pure opinion outlet, not even one that I happened to agree with, to suddenly be running CBS News. But it is especially alarming to have someone doing it who has spent years putting out work that, in my opinion, is at best irresponsible and at worst deeply misleading.”
… After it was revealed to the public that Trump got a covid booster shot last week, right-wing talk show host Steve Deace conducted a poll of his MAGA audience whether Trump should have gotten it. 97% said no.
… Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) to Meidas on Trump teasing a pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell: “It’s really shocking for him to essentially lean into this possibility of a pardon. And we know why that’s the case, right? He wants to control what she says. He wants her - someone who has a ton of information on what actually happened - to perhaps… omit memories she might have of the president from any testimony.”
… San Antonio Express: “Some Texas National Guard soldiers deployed to Chicago have been sent home for failing to meet height, weight and fitness standards. This comes after Pete Hegseth said he was tired of ‘fat troops’ giving the military a ‘bad look.’ A photo of soldiers in Chicago went viral last week, with commenters pointing out the irony of Hegseth’s comments.
… Task & Purpose: “A spokesperson for the TX Military Dept confirmed that ‘a small group’ of the 200 National Guard members sent to IL this past week have been replaced after they were found to not meet certain standards. The move came amid criticism on social media over pictures that showed some of the Guard members appearing to be overweight.”
… “A set of viral photos by ABC News earlier this week showed troops arriving in Chicago, with several appearing heavyset. The Texans were met with derision online for their appearance, with several people noting Pete Hegseth’s comments about fitness standards during his September speech to top military leaders.
… Hegseth responded to the Task & Purpose story: “Standards are back at the Department of War.”
Cheeto and Antifa
There is a Nazi rolling propaganda campaign amongst Cheeto and the Nazi allies in the WH to label any political or legal opposition as antifa
So we should be very clear about this term that the current Nazi propaganda machine is rolling out Timothy Snyder in his informative Substack channel has a provocative short video(https://bit.ly/3VZGp5D) that outlines the historical underpinning of the term antifa In short in Weimar Germany between 1918 and 1933 when Hitler came into power there existed a group of Germans who were against Hitler rising to power and they were labeled anti-fascists
History doesn’t repeat but it certainly rhymes and we can learn from Weimar Germany’s experience as Snyder points out We are in the midst of a Hitlerian fascist takeover and those who participate in protests are all members of antifa So we should all celebrate being part of the movement to overthrow Cheeto’s takeover of the country and turn it into a fascist totalitarian regime
Tally the deals and sub-deals for the Trump organization .. you'll see 90 deals in 90 days. Not TRADE deals, mind you. https://bsky.app/profile/opsan.com/post/3ls2byov7js2w
Another Recess? MAGA-MINI Mike wants to avoid a seating for a significant vote. Color me unsurprised. https://bsky.app/profile/opsan.com/post/3lzgmhmrot22g
My friend's nieces & nephews attend school in Texas, North of Dallas.
ALL students have a Bible. A DJT Bible. First page is apparently a portrait of DJT.
The Project 2025 edited version of the US Constitution is in the back of the Bibles.
Just as God wanted it to be.
Anti-Christ much there, Donald?
Even if one doesn't believe in this, he certainly ticks an awful lot of the boxes.
Mars, where the soil is poisonous, the radiation means staying inside a shelter that blocks it. Meanwhile, you need food, water and something to do other than play solitaire. It’s an absurd idea. Going and coming back is one thing. Living there is a dumb idea. But if Musk is hot to go, I say put him and his pals, the Trumps and a few others on a rocket and send them off.
So the plan is no paychecks, nukes on the moon, and Bari Weiss at CBS. Cool cool cool.
“No Kings” is Antifa? Funny, the last one opened with an oath to the Constitution. Imagine swearing to the thing your job actually requires.
JD Vance got yeeted off TV for dodging a yes-or-no. America needs more of that button.
Johnson says Obamacare was “created to implode.” Translation: people like it and that is very inconvenient for him.
House Republicans have worked 12 of 80 days. That is not a calendar. That is a brunch reservation.
Trump says he is not getting into heaven. For once we agree on something. Someone tell the Bible salesman.
Tariffs up Friday, walk-back Sunday, mystery bitcoin short wins the jackpot. It is like watching a rigged carnival game with Goldman Sachs as the barker.
Also, Pete wants fitness standards while blocking ambulances and strong-arming reporters. Great abs. Weak ethics.
See you at No Kings. Bring receipts, not tiki torches.
Do you remember when one of the MINDLESS DIMWITS, think it was ALEX WHAT'S HIS NAME that broadcast a show with a guy who proclaimed that NASA was running a SEX COLONY ON MARS? (we don't read his lunacy, but it must have been posted on MEDIA MATTERS or SNOPES)
NASA got so many calls from the MAGA MORONS that they had to put a POST ON THEIR WEB SITE!
I posted a spoof about what clothing to wear, FOOD, currency exchange, etc.
My recollection is that the TRIP would require ~ 7 years.
That's as insane as a nuclear power plant on the moon!
CHINA is promoting CHEAP CLEAN ENERGY - selling SMALL SOLAR UNITS WITH BATTERY BACKUP that is being gobbled up by poorer nations. They're also promoting HIGH SPEED RAIL.

In NEW ENGLAND, the ORANGE TURD is threatening OFFSHORE WIND projects, at least 2 near completion that would power ~ 1 MILLION HOMES, reduce energy costs & create jobs.
DIRTY ENERGY KOCH funded opposition to the first OFFSHORE WIND PROJECT for 16 years until CAPE WIND finally gave up. Flooded that area with PROPAGANDA & LIES.
DIRTY ENERGY KOCH funds groups with benign sounding names that oppose EVs, solar, public transpportation, high speed rail or ANYTHING that would reduce their DIRTY ENERGY PROFITS. They were the first to buy oil from RUSSIA & seem to still be financially involved with RUSSIA - it's always about MONEY.
Trump wallows in DIRTY ENERGY MONEY!
NEW HAMPSHIRE just shuttered its last DIRTY COAL POWER PLANT - the last in NEW ENGLAND!
I attended a public hearing that included residents who lived near the MASSACHUSETTS' last DIRTY DOZEN at BRAYTON POINT - they couldn't leave their windows open due to the SOOT. High rate of ASTHMA.
