He has the lowest approval of any president in U.S. history at this time in their term. The No Kings Protest on Saturday was the largest mass mobilization in the history of the United States. Trump’s dictator parade was one of the most embarrassing events in presidential history. Donald Trump could not last more than 8 hours at the G7 before running away like a coward and going back to the United States. Trump talked about a nonexistent trade deal with the European Union while standing next to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, believing Starmer was the head of the European Union. Then Trump dropped a bunch of blank pages on the floor which he purported to be a “deal,” and he made Starmer bend down on his knees to pick up the blank pages. Trump is called a TACO at home and abroad, which stands for “Trump Always Chickens Out.” He makes up deadlines and doesn’t meet them, then sets new arbitrary deadlines and says things will be solved in “two weeks,” and they never are. Whether it’s talking about Alcatraz, or Hannibal Lecter, or selling crypto, Trump is viewed as a cognitively addled grifter. Trump’s disastrous budget bill—which would instantly take 15 million people off their healthcare, give trillions in tax cuts to billionaires, and add $20 trillion to our debt—is the most unpopular bill in history. Trump is a loathsome, gremlin-like creature conjuring the visual image of Stripe—the main bad Gremlin in the movie—manifested in human form. A vile, ulcerous, cantankerous, slobbering fool. (Google “Stripe the Gremlin” after you subscribe to this Substack today.) So he’s thirsty for war because he wants to be a tough guy. He doesn’t care about the implications in the form of the loss of life of our troops or the costs to taxpayers. Trump’s been making social media posts as though this is some reality show, saying things like “STAY TUNED” and “YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN’T HIDE.” Trump and others are now talking about regime change in Iran, which could cause a bloody civil war in the country that could spread throughout the region. Meanwhile, while the focus is on Iran and Trump was not at the G7 yesterday to meet with President Zelenskyy, Putin’s Russia has escalated its attacks against Kyiv to kill innocent civilians. This follows Trump lamenting Putin being kicked out of the G7 during the short time Trump was in Canada before leaving. The importance of independent media is needed now more than ever. We are the eyes and ears and the megaphone and the machinery to hold the Trump regime accountable. It’s us versus Trump. The corporate news was ready to sell us all out to the regime.
