The Senate just passed President Biden’s historic climate change and healthcare bill at breakneck speed (by Washington standards), right before their month-long August recess. We must now seize that momentum and push the bill through the House and onto the president’s desk just as fast!
Dubbed the “Inflation Reduction Act,” the bill contains the largest climate investment in US history — $369 billion! — and staves off disastrous health insurance premium hikes set to take effect with the expiration of COVID-era Affordable Care Act subsidies.
