MAGA extremists on the Georgia State Election Board are not backing down from their efforts that could ease the way for election sabotage — and we’re making sure voters are aware of their actions by launching a new ad. FIRST: Three of the board’s five members cast doubts on the results of the 2020 Presidential election. THEN: The same three MAGA members on the board changed Georgia’s election rules in a way that could delay or block the certification of results of the 2024 election. NOW: The board is being sued for violating the law and changing election rules (in a way that conflicts with state law) in a likely attempt to help Trump. We refuse to be silent when our votes are on the line. Our new ad highlights these harmful actions, urges Governor Brian Kemp to take action, and encourages folks who care about independent elections to call Kemp and demand he remove these MAGA board members. We will keep putting pressure on anti-voter politicians to stop attacks like these, but we rely on grassroots support to make sure our message is heard. These extremists are laying the groundwork to contest the results of the upcoming election, and even Georgia’s Republican Attorney General Chris Carr has called their actions illegal. Georgia is once again a battleground state, and our votes will be pivotal to the final results of the election. Donald Trump and his MAGA team are well aware of our status and are doing everything in their power to interfere with our state’s election. It’s up to us, to ensure every voice is heard in this election, because too much is at stake. Getting this ad in front of people means more chances to stop the SEB’s actions.
