Trump glitches out during press conference
During a bizarre press conference, Donald Trump attempted to mock Kamala Harris for repeatedly expressing gratitude in her DNC speech, imitating her with exaggerated "thank yous." Trump seemed to deride Harris for being grateful after raising over $500 million and uniting her party, revealing more about his character than anything else. He then pivoted to discussing job losses, claiming that Biden and Harris were allowing undocumented immigrants to take jobs from African Americans and Hispanics, a narrative with no basis in reality. Additionally, Trump acknowledged a recent endorsement from Robert F. Kennedy Jr., despite both having spent the past year attacking one another. This sudden shift in tone is yet another example of Trump’s unpredictable and self-serving behavior. Clearly, the frequent media appearances are not helping Trump turn around his failing campaign.
SHOCK POLL: KAMALA 58, TRUMP 41
Kamala Harris currently holds a strong 58% chance of winning the election, according to the latest FiveThirtyEight forecast, compared to Donald Trump’s 41%. This forecast, based on 100 simulations using current polling data, reflects odds of winning rather than direct vote margins, with less than a 1% chance that neither candidate will reach the necessary 270 electoral votes. Recent polls show mixed results, with a Fairleigh Dickinson poll giving Harris a 7-point lead over Trump, 50% to 43%, while the Real Clear Politics average shows Harris ahead by 1.5 points, consistent with her pre-DNC lead. As more post-convention data comes in, Harris's lead may grow, setting the stage for Trump to work hard to regain ground. The forecast suggests Harris will see a bump in the polls, but whether this will hold until November remains uncertain.

CRINGE: Donut shop workers want NOTHING TO DO with JD Vance
JD Vance recently made a highly uncomfortable and cringeworthy appearance at a donut shop, where his lack of charisma and awkwardness were on full display. The encounter, intended as a casual photo op, quickly went awry as Vance struggled to make small talk with the employees. One worker explicitly asked not to be filmed, leading to her being blurred out in the footage, while another seemed visibly displeased with the interaction. Vance awkwardly asked questions about their jobs, sounding more like an impersonal HR interview than a genuine conversation. His disorientation and confusion over something as simple as buying donuts highlighted his lack of personality and inability to connect with people. Despite the uncomfortable exchanges, Vance eventually managed to purchase a dozen donuts with the assistance of several employees and campaign staff. This disastrous outing reflects poorly on Vance, whose favorability is already low, and raises questions about his suitability as a candidate

WOW: Pete Buttigieg DOES IT AGAIN to Fox News
Pete Buttigieg appeared on Fox News during the Democratic National Convention, where he masterfully countered the network's talking points on crime. Engaging with host Lawrence Jones, Buttigieg highlighted the lack of context in the statistics presented by Fox News, particularly regarding crime and immigration. He pointed out that the increase in violent crime began under Donald Trump and emphasized that discussions on crime should also focus on effective policy solutions, such as universal background checks for gun purchases. Buttigieg further criticized the selective reporting by right-wing media, suggesting that viewers of Fox News may not be fully informed about the true state of crime and the achievements of the Biden-Harris administration. He also shared his experiences as a mayor dealing with gun violence and argued that Republicans, despite their rhetoric, have not effectively addressed the issue. Buttigieg’s ability to connect personal experiences with broader policy critiques demonstrated his skill in handling tough media interactions and solidified his reputation as a formidable communicator with a promising political future.
More on the show:
-- A deep dive into criticisms that Democrats are no longer abiding by "when they go low, we go high" as previously outlined by Michelle Obama, considering former President Obama's recent Trump "penis size" joke and more
-- JD Vance's running mate status is now endangered what with the endorsement of Donald Trump by Robert F. Kennedy Jr, a far more charismatic and skilled politician than Vance
-- At a borderline criminal rally in Glendale, Arizona, Donald Trump tells a police veteran that he "has to go" in the middle of the officer's speech, brings out Robert F. Kennedy Jr with pyrotechnics, and seems generally confused
-- JD Vance is interviewed by NBC News' Kristen Welker, and it's so bad, one can only wonder whether Vance is deliberately trying to hurt Trump's chances
-- Facing imminent disaster, Donald Trump and JD Vance are now suddenly claiming to be against a federal abortion ban
-- CNN gets caught using a pro-Trump individual, Bryant Rosado, in a panel supposedly made up of "undecided" voters
