I live in new york - i stupidly left my phone + wallet in Washington Sq Park last summer. Thought it was gone forever, but turns out a houseless person saw me leave it and immediately look both to the police. All my cash was inside, nothing stolen - New York can be just as safe as it is dangerous G.O.P. = Grievances, Obfuscation, Paranoia "Scare the comfortable white suburbanites" is always a strong strategy in any election.

Thank you, GOP, for finally seeing the light Even in Canada, most guns used in crimes come from Texas. I live in fhe suburbs now and I feel less safe than I did when I lived in a city. Maybe its becuase I have school aged children, live near a town where kids were killed in a school shooting a couple years ago, and even closer to a neighboring town where someone shot up a splash pad at a park last weekend! So ya, I don't feel safe here, I dont feel like my family is safe here. Nowhere is safe bc our gun laws are idiotic, gun culture has become absolutely ridiculous, and access to mental health care for these sick individuals who carry out these crimes is lackluster at best.....oh ya, almost forgot, I live in a very Republican county.
