We have a major fundraising deadline at midnight, and let me tell you why I’m particularly focused on that.
November 8th is the midterm election. House candidates including me here in California and across the country will be appearing on the ballot for the first time in our new districts. In just 85 days, millions of new voters who have never seen us on their ballots before will go to choose among Democrats and Republicans to decide who will control the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, along with many important gubernatorial, judicial, state legislative, and state executive races.
With Fox News, the right-wing media circus, and Republicans including Kevin McCarthy spreading heaps of misinformation about me and other Democrats, it’s critical that we reach every voter possible to share the truth about our campaign and ensure every voter knows that I and the rest of our Democratic majority have got their back.
Absentee ballots will be mailed out in just a few weeks. With the sheer number of new voters we need to reach across the country to defend our majority, my team and I have our work cut out for ourselves.
