Your Signature Is Needed: Coral reefs are being destroyed by corporate cruise ships

Once upon a time, on an island in The Bahamas, there was an enchanted place called Lighthouse Point surrounded by turquoise waters abundant with oceanic wildlife living harmoniously. But this magical and biodiverse landmark doesn’t have a happy ending. The corporate villains at Disney Cruise are constructing a massive pier above the beloved habitat that will lead to the destruction of some of the ancient coral reefs that many marine species call home.

It’s too late to give Lighthouse Point a fairytale ending, but we can stop more cruise ship corporations from decimating other endangered coral reefs if we take immediate action now. Will you sign your name right away to protect precious coral reefs from corporate greed?

Not only are coral reefs stunningly beautiful as one of nature’s most iconic wonders, but these structures are known as “rainforests of the sea” due to their rich biodiversity and ecological significance. By assisting in carbon and nitrogen regulation, providing essential nutrients for the marine food chain, and protecting coastlines from storms and erosion, these treasured structures play an essential role for both the environment and wildlife alike.

But the cruise ship industry, like the bad guys at Disney Cruise, wants to tear down precious coral reefs due to corporate greed, which will result in the loss of critical marine resources. Please take action now to demand accountability from cruise ship corporations before we lose more valuable coral reefs >>
