The night is dark. The sky is full of storm clouds obscuring the moon and the stars. We are stumbling through the darkness, praying for guidance, hoping not to take a wrong step that will lead us into danger, a step from which we would not be able to pull back.

We are surrounded by treachery, evildoers and assassins. They have been planning for this moment. It is, and has been to take from you your way of life, your rights, and oppress you.

They most treacherous among them will try to deceive you. They will attempt to confuse you, to make you believe your friend is your enemy. In small, unnoticeable groups they will infiltrate the masses. They will destroy your community, instigating violence and destruction, then covertly retreat into the obscurity of the crowd.

They will cause destruction in property and division within society that will take decades to repair. They understand that their reign of power is near the end, and intend to destroy all they cannot control. Their efforts depend on support of the bigotry, hatred and ignorance of those with whom they share a set of twisted mores.

It is up to us, those who cherish the liberty fought for by our forefathers. It is our duty not to succumb to those who would take away the ideals on which this nation was created. It will be with our voices raised together in defiance against those who would dissolve everything we hold most holy so they can replace it with division, oppression and hatred. We cannot allow those with evil in their hearts and their easily malleable followers to succeed. You nation needs your support. It needs you to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, as many of the people who were sworn to do so have abandoned this sacred oath.

It is always darkest before the dawn; coldest before the sun rises to once again warm the earth. 150 days from now we will use our ability to bring democracy back to our nation. We will force a new dawn, a new day, and a rebirth of all that once made America the great nation it can be.

Hey Republicans, If not a single Republican can think of one good thing the Republican Party has done for America in the last fifty years, then why the hell do you vote for them? Is it the racism, the greed, the hatred of other religions? Inquisitive minds want to know. I'm guessing you're all just really afraid of anything and anyone different and the people who you vote for know it too and that is why people living in all the poorest states (the red ones) go along with living like paupers in the richest country in the history of the world. I mean just go a few feet across the Canadian Border and they don't have a care in the world (2 grand a month, rent freeze, healthcare) while here all the top leaders in charge said there is no way in hell you're getting another dime unless you come out and risk your life for it. Boy Republicans sure are chumps. Maybe once the unemployment dries up in July and you get evicted and are turned down for food stamps and any other "entitlement" that used to be your money when it was deducted from your paycheck but has since become an entitlement because a greedy old white guy couldn't stand for you to have it. You see once you have means and healthcare you're no longer obligated to risk your life for $7.25. Anyway, I don't think Republican voters will be pulling themselves up by their bootstraps anytime soon. In fact, I expect to see a lot of them protesting along side Progressives once the depression sets in. After that I don't expect to see many poor Republicans, only the rich ones swooping in with their ill gotten (looted) stimulus money to buy up all the businesses Trump ruined. So again. Name one good thing the GOP has done for America or Americans in the last fifty years? Hatred doesn't count. By the way, the last depression of this magnitude took ten years and world war to break free from, the experts say this one's going to be long too. Hope you all saved up, because your government doesn't give a shit about you. If I were you, I'd secede again. Ha

"It is possible to both stand against rioting and empathize with it; to wish it didn't happen, and to understand why it did. It can be both condemned and defended. It is possible to separate protestors from rioters from looters, and yet also see how they are intertwined. It is possible to both condemn systemic racism on police forces and not hate individual police. It is possible to condemn the use of force against protestors, and see the need to quell dangerous riots. It is possible to recognize that one benefits from racism, and yet not be a bigot. It is possible to both acknowledge white-privilege and yet not wallow in self-loathing. One can both love America for what it stands for, and be disgusted by how far it falls short of achieving that vision. One can both acknowledge that this nation was built upon slavery and injustice, and see the great potential it has offered millions.
Yet, if my social media feed is any indicator, America's constant, infantile need to reduce everything to a binary prevents it. "Good vs. Evil", "Truth vs. Lie", "Good guys and Bad guys" . . . it seems the only shades of gray America does is soft-core porn. Our inability for nuanced self-reflection has helped lead us here, and it surely doesn't offer us a way out."
