Senator Warnock's Accomplishments

 

We know you are aware, the Georgia Senate race is heading into the final stretch with only 11 days left. This means we have little time to waste in organizing and directing resources to Georgia to make sure that we keep this seat BLUE. And while the urgency is clear, we wanted to draw out a clear distinction between our endorsed candidate Senator Warnock and his opponent. But, instead of focusing on the negative, we’re going to fill you in on all the accomplishments and work that Revered Warnock has put in for the state of Georgia and for the country.

 1.) As a Senator and Revered, Raphael Warnock has committed himself to equality in the sacred right of voting. He is a staunch supporter of the For the People Act – legislation aimed at creating a more equal and accessible space for voting as well as countering the negative influence of corporate lobbying.

2.) In line with one of our main goals as an organization – Senator Warnock is the main sponsor of S.278 - Emergency Relief for Farmers of Color Act of 2021. This bill would allocate funds to disenfranchised groups and work to grow the agriculture economy for those that have previously felt barricaded from farmer life. Everyone deserves an equal chance to have a farm and live the rural dream and Senator Warnock knows that, after all, Georgia is a VERY rural place 🐄!

3.) Senator Warnock has been an outspoken leader on the plight of maternal death rates in the country. Currently, Georgia has one of the highest rates in the country, and the Reverend has supported the Maternal Health Quality Improvement Act, as well as the Black Maternal Health Act.

4.) In true fashion of someone who exemplifies leadership and civility, Senator Revered Warnock has worked across the aisle with many Republicans to achieve goals such as:

- Ted Cruz on an infrastructure act for the connections between Texas and Georgia.
- Mike Braun on the RURAL Act for Railroad safety.
- Tommy Tuberville on peanut farming (Georgia is also the Peanut 🥜 state along with peaches.)

Overall, we believe that with the grace, experience, and integrity pursued and displayed by Senator Warnock, he is the best person to deliver for people across the state of Georgia.
