Did you see that House Democrats introduced a bill to end child poverty as we know it?   This legislation far exceeds President Biden's promises by investing in paid parental leave, improving child care facilities, and raising wages for childcare workers. America will thrive when the next generation is valued and invested in, and that's exactly what this bill can accomplish.   Here's the problem: Republicans pose an enormous challenge in passing legislation. After seeing the massive struggles parents have faced during the pandemic, the GOP is still committed to leaving families behind in the name of spending cuts.   We know that this bill wouldn't be possible without the Democratic majority in Congress, so we have to make sure Republicans don't take it back in 2022.   Republicans have BARELY worked on legislation -- their elected job -- this year, in part because of their refusal to work with our Democratic president, and in part because they just don't want to help American families.
