Love, lost and found KIMBER
Hi! I'm Kimber. Because it's Valentine's Day, I want to tell you a love story.
When I was just a little pup, I lived at North Shore Animal League America. I was a cutie pie back then – who are we kidding, I still am! – and was quickly adopted by my person. We did everything together! We played long rounds of fetch, snuggled up on the couch for movie nights, went on adventures… He was my best friend in the whole world.
That all changed when my owner passed away last year. Who would I wake up next to every morning? Who would know my favorite spot for scratches? Who would love me?
As a real testament to our love, my owner took care of me even after he left. Through a special program, he left instructions in his will that I should return to Animal League America. He knew, even as a senior dog, I would be safe at their no-kill campus!
Turns out, I wouldn't be there long. At the same time, Cynthia was mourning the loss of her senior dog. She saw my sweet silver face on Animal League America's adoption page, and fell in love. Who could blame her?
Cynthia took me home, and I found love once again. We play fetch together, cuddle every night, and share a new kind of love that both of us needed!
Friends like you helped us find each other's love, and for that I can't thank you enough!
Lots of love,
Kimber
P.S. This love story wouldn't be possible without North Shore Animal League America. They helped me find a loving family not once, but twice! If you want to make more love stories possible, please consider making a gift today.
