Police Dog Savagely Attacks Unarmed Black Man [Video]'

) host of The Young Turks discusses an event that we will be more than happy to stop reporting about if it would stop happening all the goddamn time; an unarmed man dies while in police custody, this time after being attacked by a police K-9 unit. "Vineland, New Jersey played host to a tragic event that has a habit of happening far too often and is yet again a symptom of an Epidemic of Brutality in the U.S. police force. Philip White, resident of Vineland, was in police custody when a K-9 unit attacked him, savagely tearing into his unprotected flesh. A video released by a friend of White shows that he is in police custody on the ground not resisting and unarmed when a K-9 unit is allowed to bite at his unprotected face, head, and neck. He was arrested and taken to a nearby hospital due to hyperventilating and under respiratory arrest. He was unresponsive en route to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. It is unclear if there will be an autopsy to determine what was exactly responsible for White's death." Are the police responsible for Philip White's death? Police Dog Bites Surrendering Man

"A grand jury declined to indict a North Carolina police officer this week despite viewing dashboard camera video that clearly shows him shoving a police dog inside a suspect's vehicle as he holds his hands up in surrender. The police dog then attacks the suspect, Johnnie Williams, as he's trapped inside his car. Williams, who suffered facial lacerations, said he never had a chance to surrender after leading Wilmington police on a pursuit Oct. 31 after driving through a drunken driving checkpoint. Cops Sic Dogs On Suicidal Teen

A mother in Florida was concerned her teenage son was suicidal so she called the police, K-9 officers arrived and cornered the teen in a trashcan in the garage of his home and the dogs viciously attacked him. “A Florida mother fearing for her child’s safety called local police for a welfare check of her son who had made a noose, only to have the two responding Officer’s K-9s eat his face off. The Florida K9 cop called for a welfare check on a suicidal teen foreshadowed the bloody mauling of Jared Lemay, texting his fellow North Port Police officer: “COME GET UR BITE.” While Lemay lay permanently disfigured in the Emergency Room, fellow North Port Officers congratulated Dietz and Bush on their savage attack.”
