MIDDLEBOROUGH – Town Manager James McGrail and Veterans Services Officer Stephen Adelman are pleased to announce that the Town of Middleborough is actively seeking donations to benefit the Middleborough Hometown Heroes Project.
Hometown Heroes is a project that has spread in popularity throughout towns and cities across the U.S. with the goal of recognizing, honoring and paying tribute to local military service personnel. The Middleborough Hometown Heroes Project will highlight local veterans by sharing their names and photos on banners throughout town. The Town of Middleborough plans to display 40-45 banners yearly from May 15 through Nov. 15.
Donations to benefit the Middleborough Hometown Heroes project will help eliminate costs for families that are interested in requesting a banner for a loved one.
Donations can be made via cash, money order or check and mailed to Veterans Services, 20 Center St., Middleborough, MA 02346. Donations can also be dropped off on the third floor of the Middleborough Town Hall Annex, located at 20 Centre St., between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, on a rolling basis.
All checks should be addressed to the Town of Middleborough Attn: Communications – Veterans Services.
