Brian Decker has vowed to NEVER prosecute abortion cases – but right now his race is neck-and-neck to be the next District Attorney for Washington County in Oregon. We need ALL hands on deck!!!
Listen. Brian’s opponent, DA Kevin Barton, has done the opposite. In fact, one month ago, DA Barton said, “What in the world does pro-choice have to do with the work of a DA? Absolutely nothing."
🤬 Excuse my language, but that’s bullshit, Tony. DAs have the power to decide whether to prosecute people seeking abortion or medical professionals who perform them if abortion becomes illegal. Washington County deserves SO much better. That is why I am BEGGING you:
PLEASE help defeat this dangerous, anti-choice DA and replace him with Brian Decker – by splitting a donation to Brian and Real Justice here. Brian will be a DA we can count on to fight for reproductive justice, and we need more like him.
Black, brown, and low-income people will be hit the hardest if the Supreme Court decides to overturn Roe v. Wade. These communities are already criminalized at higher rates – stripping rights, locking people up, and stopping people from making decisions about their own bodies and LIVES.
It’s disgusting.
It’s horrific.
What the Supreme Court is doing right now is beyond appalling.
But we can fight back by electing DAs who will stand up for abortion rights and fight for reproductive justice.
In fact, if Roe v. Wade IS overturned, DAs like Brian will be our FIRST line of defense to make sure that people are not prosecuted for abortion. But we NEED to help him win.
On May 17th, we have that chance.
