You are probably still catching up after the Thanksgiving break, so we’ll get right to it. Giving Tuesday is tomorrow, and we really need your investment to continue our campaign to curb the holiday gun buying surge. Throughout 2020, the historic number of gun purchases is causing more and more gun deaths and injuries. As the year closes out, we are focused on a two-pronged strategy to stop this heartbreaking trend. First, we are actively educating the public about the dangers of panic or first-time gun buying during the pandemic. Second, we’re pressuring America’s largest sports retailers to pause gun sales during the holidays. This work takes resources and that’s where we need your grassroots support.
