Democrats in the Senate late last week voted to issue subpoenas to two high-profile Republican donors that have been at the center of the SCOTUS payoff scandal. Accountability apparently doesn't sit well with Republicans, as the Republican Senators on the Judiciary Committee staged a walkout in protest of the subpoenas. This isn't about a political vendetta or bad legislation - this is about making sure that our highest court isn't corrupt to the core, but answering that question is just too much for the GOP.
