Ron Filipkowski on Today's Uncovered

Ron Filipkowski on Today's Uncovered

We started off today’s show with a few words about the latest horrific school shooting in America, this time at a Catholic school in MN.

I then talked about Trump’s disgusting cabinet meeting yesterday where his sycophants showered Dear Leader with praise. We talked about the significance of that from a policy perspective - and how much his current cabinet contrasts with the one he had in his first term which makes Trump much more dangerous this time around.

We talked about Trump floating the “dictator” talk a lot this week in the context of the military takeover of DC, and how his move to send the National Guard into cities will look a whole lot different if he tries it in Chicago - which is next according to him and other sources.

We talked about Trump’s medical issues with his hands and ankles and what that could mean for the near future with Vance waiting in the wings. I also spent some time talking about how a succession could play out if Trump is unable to finish his term with Vance and others battling to take over the MAGA base.

I also talked about Rep. Alford’s tumultuous town hall where he got an earful from his constituents about how Republicans in Congress refuse to stand up to Trump. That led to a discussion about the midterms, and why I don’t think Democratic voters’ frustrations with leadership (which I agree with) is as big a problem as it could be in other circumstances.

I explained the sinister machinations between the Cracker Barrel nonsense, which has also played out with other companies. This is really a playbook that a handful of people inside and outside government have used to extort companies, and I explained how it operates.

We also talked about MAGA fuming over Trump’s new policy on Chinese students, flag burning, troops picking up trash in DC, and other things.

Lots more but those are some of the highlights. Link to the show is here. If you missed yesterday’s Bulletin, you can find that here.
