Fox Declared War on Us…By Ben Meiselas This doesn’t come as a surprise. Fox has always hated the MeidasTouch Network. Rupert Murdoch despises me and my brothers. He thought he was going to hand off the biggest news network to his son Lachlan. The Murdochs poured billions of dollars into it. Private equity poured billions of dollars into Fox. Yet, here we are—with the MeidasTouch Network, built on this Substack and our subscribers, beating Rupert Murdoch. As you know, other than the MeidasTouch Network, my favorite news entity is The Guardian, which is based in the United Kingdom. After expanding out from Australia, Rupert started building his media empire in the United Kingdom. The Murdochs are very much aware of the major stories coming out of their competition like The Guardian. Apparently, from all of my Fox sources, the profile that The Guardian did on me and the MeidasTouch Network sent Rupert and Lachlan into a spiral. They’ve told several executives privately, words to the effect of, “We are going to war with Meidas and taking down the Meiselas brothers.” I hear they have an entire digital team at Fox monitoring the work we do each day. In the past, Fox has essentially reported our hosts to the DOJ for accurately reporting on ICE. As you know from my prior reporting, Fox has also gone after several of our hosts on air. Although the Murdochs may want to make this fight about Murdoch versus Meiselas, I don’t see it that way. I see it as Murdoch versus the Meidas Mighty. I don’t have an ego in this. The MeidasTouch Network has shocked the world and is pummeling Fox in views and engagement because of this Meidas Mighty community. Whereas Fox deceives and exploits its audience, in my opinion, MeidasTouch uplifts and channels the strength of our community to get out critical messages and the truth during these uncertain times. That is why we will continue to beat Fox and the Murdochs. Rupert and Lachlan will just have to learn that their time controlling the narrative with lies is over. As The Guardian article pointed out, it’s now time for the MeidasTouch Network to lead the way. Let’s keep building this wonderful network and community together. Young Republican Leaders’ Leaked Chats Show Hate, Violence….A dump of more than 2,900 pages of private Telegram messages from Young Republican group leaders has revealed disgusting conversations between them: racist slurs, praise for Hitler, graphic sexual violence jokes, and threats of gas chambers. The implicated names include state and national GOP youth figures in Kansas, New York, Arizona, and Vermont. The leaked messages have triggered calls for resignations, with some state chapters already deactivating. JD Vance defended the statements, saying he refuses to “join the pearl clutching.” Common Sense takeaway: As a former Republican, I’m not shocked by these messages. This is the rhetoric that Republicans have been using in private, or wanting to use but didn’t feel empowered until Trump gave them the go-ahead. These people should all be removed from their positions and any form of leadership immediately. Trump Admin Revokes Visas Over Anti-Kirk Posts….Donald Trump’s State Department announced Tuesday it had revoked the visas of six foreign nationals who criticized right-wing activist Charlie Kirk online after his assassination. The department declared, “The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans,” before listing “examples of aliens” who are now “no longer welcome in the U.S.” The thread included screenshots of posts from citizens of Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Paraguay, and South Africa — effectively doxxing some of them. One post read, “Charlie Kirk won’t be remembered as a hero. He was used to astroturf a movement of white nationalist trailer trash!” Common Sense takeaway: The administration is weaponizing immigration law against foreign nationals who exercise their American right to free speech. Criticizing someone or their legacy is very different from calling for political violence! This is also the same administration that promised to end “social media censorship,” but they really just meant for them and no one else. News Orgs Reject Pentagon Press Policy Over Free Press Fears….At least 30 major U.S. media outlets — including Reuters, NYT, and Washington Post — refused to sign a new Pentagon press access policy requiring them to acknowledge they could be considered “security risks” and face credential revocation if they probe certain topics. The Pentagon claims the rules are meant to safeguard sensitive information—but critics see it as an affront toward dissent and press freedom, saying it gives defense officials unprecedented power to restrict media coverage. Common Sense takeaway: Freedom of the press is enshrined in the Constitution; any action taken to restrict our media from freely and fairly covering our government is a personal attack on our rights. I genuinely hope media outlets sue the Department of Defense for these new “policies.” Meta Enforces PG-13 Filters for Teen Instagram Users….Instagram, owned by Meta, announced a major restriction on content for users under 18. Starting now, all teen accounts will default to a PG-13 content standard. Posts with strong language, drug references, risky stunts, or other mature themes will be hidden or unrecommended. Meta says the change is a response to pressure over teen safety and legal threats. The platform will use AI to enforce age predictions (even if a teen lies about their age), and parents can personally activate a stricter “Limited Content” mode that further censors comments, DMs, and interactions. Common Sense takeaway: It’s about time tech companies take more steps to protect our kids from the dangers of social media. We know that consuming violence on the internet is a contributor to committing violence in real life. Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones lost big yesterday, when the Supreme Court rejected his frivolous appeal of the $1.4 billion judgment against him. Jones was previously ordered to give the money to families of the Sandy Hook shooting, after repeatedly calling the tragedy a hoax.
Attorneys for Jones said: “The result is a financial death penalty.” Good. I hope he never digs himself out of this financial hole.

NY AG Letitia James spoke at a Zohran Mamdani event this week. James, who was recently indicted after Trump pressured the DOJ, came out to loud roars from the crowd, as she raised her fist in defiance.
James stated: “I stand on solid rock. And I will not bow. I will not break. I will not bend. I will not capitulate. I will not give in. I will not give up … You come for me—you gotta come through all of us!”
DOJ ISSUES WITH COMEY CASE

The DOJ’s sloppy case against former FBI Director James Comey is already hitting major roadblocks. A judge swiftly rejected a DOJ attempt to limit Comey’s access to evidence, saying it would “unnecessarily hinder and delay” the proceedings.
Now, Comey is moving to dismiss the case entirely. His attorneys argue that the charges are weak, and say the DOJ’s prosecutor Lindsey Halligan was unlawfully appointed. More to come.

Dem Rep.-Elect Adelita Grijalva’s win has now been certified in Arizona, yet Speaker Mike Johnson continues to stall her swearing-in. Johnson knows that once Grijalva takes office, the House will be forced to vote on releasing the Epstein Files.
So now, Arizona AG Kris Mayes is threatening legal action, stating: “It’s way past time for Mike Johnson to stop the political games and seat Adelita without delay.”

Former President Barack Obama is featured in a new ad urging California voters to support Prop 50, a ballot measure that would redraw the state’s congressional map.
In the powerful video, Obama warns: “Republicans want to steal enough seats in Congress to rig the next election and wield unchecked power for two more years. With Prop 50, you can stop Republicans in their tracks.”
Obama says it “puts our elections back on a level playing field, preserves independent redistricting over the long term, and lets the people decide.” As they should.

I LOVED the scene of people marching to Mike Johnsons office chanting "Swear her in"! Adelita Grijalva is being held hostage by a dishonest, corrupt speaker. So much for being a "Christian". He disgusts me. It would seem the GOP is becoming ever more desperate.
It reminds me of how when Obama was president, they contested Al Franken's win and did not seat him in the senate for over a year.
I forgot about that. These people are beyond dishonest.
Al Franken's election win was just insanity, because Franken's opponent, Norm Coleman, kept demanding recount after recount after he lost the election in Minnesota. Franken won by 225 votes, but Coleman just wouldn't accept the results. Finally, the Supreme Court in Minnesota unanimously ruled in Franken's favor and the turd Coleman finally conceded. Then, the Democrats forced him out 8+ years later because of some made-up accusation, before even investigating the facts. Go figure.
His Christianity bears no resemblance to the actual teachings of Jesus Christ. He cherry picked the Bible for verses that he likes. Those verses are not what Jesus said, they are mostly the laws that the Jewish people followed when they were wandering in the desert for 40 years. Put in that context, they make sense, but they are not ‘Christian’.

I voted YES on Prop 50 yesterday and drove my ballot to the post office and put it in the slot inside! I moved to California from Washington State in 2021, and on Bainbridge Island, our ballot box was lit on fire during the 2020 election, so I don't trust dropping it in one of those anymore!
