BONGINO HEADED OUT

Next month, Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino will be leaving to return to the right-wing podcast world. Even though I’m sure his replacement will somehow be worse, I’m glad this liar who accomplished nothing during his short tenure will be gone. Good riddance.

FOX POLL

As always, I take polls with a grain of salt. But sometimes there are numbers that can’t be ignored. And surprisingly, a new Fox poll released this week gives a glimpse of just how far Trump’s popularity has fallen.

A whopping 72% of those surveyed said they view current “economic conditions” negatively, with nearly half of the Republicans polled saying the economy is in bad shape. If I were a Republican in a competitive House seat, I would be running as far away from Trump as possible right now. But it’s probably too late for that. Good.

PULITZER PUSHES BACK

In 2022, Trump filed a bogus defamation lawsuit against the Pulitzer Prize Board for giving awards to multiple papers for their reporting on the Trump-Russia scandal.

As one of the first people to investigate Trump’s Russian ties, I can say that those who won the awards deserved it. They dug in hard, unlike most of corporate media.

Well, now it looks like this lawsuit is backfiring spectacularly. The Pulitzer Board is demanding Trump’s legal team turn over his psychological records, medication history, all of his tax returns from 2015 to now, and all physical exams. Trump might want to just drop this.

KENNEDY CENTER ANGER

DC resident Andrew Howard was walking by the Kennedy Center with his dog George earlier this week, as workers were installing Trump’s name on the building. Howard saw that cameras were recording the scene, so he stopped to let the whole world know how he felt about it.

Howard said: “We should all be shocked. Shocked that a … convicted felon and a thug and by all means a grifter, has just stuck his name on top of a national monument.” He added: “This is a desecration … A narcissistic individual that’s fooled everyone around him … I will never set foot in this building as long as his name is on it.”

Howard’s words went viral and helped inspire a large protest outside of the center on Saturday. Even Dem Sen. Chris Van Hollen showed up, telling the crowd: “This desecration … will not stand. Mark my words, whether it’s a matter of weeks or months, Donald Trump’s name will come down off of the Kennedy Center.”

DOJ’S EPSTEIN FILE FAIL

The fallout over the DOJ’s failure to deliver the Epstein files by the legally required deadline is just beginning. Dem Rep. Ro Khanna and GOP Rep. Thomas Massie said they are drafting articles of impeachment against Bondi over it, as they should.DOJ'S EPSTEIN FILE DAIL,

Folks are furious that the DOJ only released about 10% of the files, which were also heavily redacted. To make matters worse, the search function wasn’t working properly.

In a scorching response, Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said: “Now the cover-up is out in the open. This is far from over. Everyone involved will have to answer for ... protecting a bunch of rapists and pedophiles because they have money, power, and connections. Bondi should resign tonight.”

AOC hit the nail on the head—this is about money, power, and connections. This entire Epstein cover-up proves that there is a justice system for rich people, and then there’s a separate set of rules for folks like us.

I am outraged at the lawbreaking of the Department of Justice!

Congress passed a law mandating the release of the Epstein Files with only the victims' names redacted. The DOJ agreed to it. Trump signed it. A deadline was set. And then what was turned over was worthless: page after page of pure black or blacked-out text.

Is this a joke? The DOJ had months to make any necessary redactions and on top of that they had an additional 30 days by law. And this is what we get: an insult.

It's bad enough that Republicans have allowed this coverup, but now THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW.

The American people deserve to know the truth! Hundreds of girls were RAPED by powerful men and Republicans are denying those girls justice. Does the GOP approve of child rape? They are trying to make sure the rapists are not revealed and not punished.

I appeal to you and to every Member of Congress to see that all the files are released and that the rapists are outed and put in prison just as any rapist should be, regardless of wealth or social status.

I also wrote this letter the next day (today) to the same Congress-Critters:

The bipartisan Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA) — introduced by Reps. Thomas Massie and Khanna — requires the DOJ to publicly release all unclassified materials related to Epstein's crimes in a fully searchable and downloadable format. This they did not do.

The deadline is past. Attorney General Bondi must be held accountable for breaking the law. Please begin impeachment hearings against Bondi, who has the ultimate responsibility to honor the wishes of the American people and obey the EFTA.

Hopefully in the discovery phase, they will ask why the 🍊💩 didn't seek any therapy due to his “emotional trauma”.

Bongino’s leaving is not enough but it’s a start. The Pulitzer board has become a beacon that ALL corporations need to follow IMMEDIATELY. With the season of football coming to a close, I keep hearing that chant we shouted in school: PUSH THEM BACK, WAY BACK!

Since this is the most sophomoric regime ever, the loss of decorum and Neanderthalism have returned and need to be exchanged with respect, kindness, and compassion for all the victims who have suffered the most egregiously because of this regime.

The children in the regime need to be held fully accountable by the courts and Congress, and if they won’t, a final third impeachment needs to happen. Wiles might be used—the mother of the regime?

I'd love to see a score card of Trump's civil lawsuits since Trump 1.0. (I know he was very successful at threatening to sue contractors back in the day). IMO it should be divided into 5 categories:

1) settled out of court by party being sued by Trump

2) cases dropped because Trump doesn't want to provide Discovery materials

3) cases thrown out of court by judges as frivolous - I can recall at least one of those

4) cases Trump has won at trial

5) cases Trump has lost at trial

I think category 1 is much bigger than category 4 because of all the media companies that have been caving in advance of any trial!

Category 1 would also include the Legal firms and universities that have bowed to DJT. DISGUSTING!!!!

I didn't think he was threatening to sue any of them. He threatened law firms with cutting off government access and universities with cutting off funding. But I may have missed some threatened lawsuits!

I hold on to the fact that once that orange POS is gone, everything with his picture and name on it will be taken down and replaced with the actual leaders who deserved the honor.
