She has pushed the lie that Donald Trump won the 2020 presidential election. So of course, Donald Trump made her the senior advisor to the United States Agency for Global Media. And now, Kari Lake is a defendant in a case being presided over by DC Federal District Judge Royce Lamberth, a Reagan appointee. As Politico reported, "Judge pauses cuts to US Agency for Global Media: Judge Royce Lamberth said the agency's 'concerning disrespect' for court orders under the leadership of Kari Lake would justify contempt proceedings."
