J.D. Vance was in Michigan yesterday, trying to rebrand President Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" ahead of the mid-term elections.
It’s no surprise – Michigan will again be the center of the political universe in 2026.
The Vice President talked a little bit about the bill, but there was a lot left unsaid.
The Vice President did not mention that manufacturing jobs are down for the 4th month in a row.
The Vice President did not mention that housing costs are up nearly 5%.
The Vice President did not mention that Michiganders have started to get letters that their healthcare costs are going up between 10-20% next year.
No matter how much Vance tries to rebrand President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” Michiganders know their own pocketbooks and how much they can or cannot save every month.
And the facts speak for themselves.
Getting that message out ahead of the next election will be critical to Democrats' chances of taking back the House and the Senate – both of which are in play here in Michigan.
