Yesterday, in front of the entire United Nations and the world, Donald Trump had a lot to say about climate science and renewable energy: He called climate change
“the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world.”
He accused climate scientists of being
“stupid people.”
He claimed the government is
“supposed to make money with energy.”
He said European countries are
“on the brink of destruction because of the green energy agenda.”
And those are just the highlights. These aren’t just empty words. They’re lies.
And they’re a blueprint for rolling back every step we’ve taken toward a sustainable future — from regulations that protect our health, to green energy initiatives that protect our planet and wallets, to laws that defend our endangered wildlife and untouched public lands.
Day by day — EVERY day — Donald Trump’s anti-science, anti-conservation agenda is causing irreversible damage to our planet and inflicting irreversible consequences on the American people.
And Republicans aren’t stopping him. We need to put our future back in the hands of Democrats — leaders who believe in science, conservation, justice, and protecting the planet for our children. We need to power Democratic campaigns that will fight to protect the American people. Can you chip in $5, $35, or whatever you can to help build that movement?
