Greg Abbott just crossed a line.

For the first time in the history of Texas, our Governor is threatening to make us a one-party state.

After Democratic legislators went around the country to rally and organize voters against Abbott and Trump's extreme redistricting scheme, Abbott is now threatening to unilaterally and illegally expel them all from office in retaliation.

Let me be clear: this is not what democracy looks like. This is what a wannabe dictator does.

They know they can’t win fairly — so they’re trying to erase the opposition altogether. And if they get away with it here, Republican legislators will try it in state after state until there’s no one left to stand in their way.

I’m not going to let that happen. But I can’t take on this fight alone.
