29 States, No Permits, No Problem?

THIS IS CORRECTED FOR COMPARISON:

1 The number of deaths per 100,000 total population.

States are categorized from highest rate to lowest rate. Although adjusted for differences in age-distribution and population size, rankings by state do not take into account other state specific population characteristics that may affect the level of mortality. When the number of deaths is small, rankings by state may be unreliable due to instability in death rates.

FIREARM MORTALITY BY STATE

In 2024, the number of states allowing individuals to carry firearms without a license reached 29, reflecting a significant shift in gun regulation across the country.

The critical safeguards provided by permits—like training and background checks—have been removed in these states.

Tell us where you stand:

Do you think permitless carry should be allowed?

When you share your opinion, you’re standing with those fighting for commonsense gun safety laws. Your voice can help us show lawmakers that Americans demand change—and a safer future for our families and communities.

Research shows a troubling pattern.

States with weaker gun laws and permitless carry suffer from higher gun violence rates than states with stronger laws.

The impact of these laws speaks volumes.

40,886 lives were lost to gun violence in 2024, including suicides, murders, and other firearm-related deaths—a 9% decrease from the previous year.

More than 5,200 of these victims were children and teens, highlighting the devastating toll on young lives.

This is a DANGEROUS TREND that puts innocent lives at risk every day, and it has to stop now!

So we're polling folks from Middleboro to know your thoughts on this bill. If we can show lawmakers that this is NOT what the people want, we can hopefully start to see some real progress and a safer America in the near future.

Do you think permitless carry should be allowed?
