Nancy Mace challenged CA Gov. Gavin Newsom to a debate—a Twitter/X post which backfired spectacularly. Newsom responded: “This you or one of your burner accounts? I honestly can’t tell these days.” His post attached a news story about Mace ordering her staff to create fake social media accounts to promote her. Every Democrat needs to bring this same kind of fire to maga. Trump’s pick for Ambassador to Singapore, Dr. Anjani Sinha, was grilled by Dem Sen. Tammy Duckworth during his confirmation hearing. When Duckworth asked what the US trade surplus was with Singapore last year, he said $18 billion, when the answer was $2.8 billion. Duckworth told him flat-out: “Frankly, I don’t think you are particularly qualified for this role, and I’m concerned about how your lack of understanding may even inadvertently cause friction in our critical relationship.” GOP Sen. Thom Tillis says the big evil bill “could be [Trump’s] Obamacare.” Tillis suspects Republicans will suffer massive losses in the 2026 midterms, like Democrats did in 2010 after passing the ACA. I think he’s right. Trump’s racism was on full display at the White House yesterday. During a visit with African leaders, Trump praised Liberian President Joseph Boakai, asking where he learned “such good English.” Liberia’s official language, is English. Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett said this about it: “Trump never misses an opportunity to be racist and wrong, and every day he finds a new way to be embarrassing ... I’m pretty sure being blatantly offensive is not how you go about conducting policy.” Most of maga is outraged over Trump burying the Epstein files. But what’s really funny is they are blaming AG Pam Bondi for it all. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending Bondi, but acting like Trump has no say in the matter is just ridiculous.
