Republicans are about to hand Big Oil a $1 billion tax break—while gutting clean energy and climate jobs. We can’t let them get away with it.

Buried in their latest tax bill is a massive fossil fuel loophole written to benefit oil and gas giants. This single giveaway will cost taxpayers over $1 billion while supercharging pollution and corporate profits.

The Senate plans to vote before July 4. That gives us just a few days to stop this assault on our climate and environment.

This misguided bill slashes support for wind, solar, and electric vehicles—threatening thousands of clean energy jobs. It’s a fossil fuel free-for-all, rigged for polluters and paid for by the rest of us.

And it’s no coincidence: the bill mirrors one pushed by Sen. James Lankford, who’s taken over $500,000 from the oil and gas industry.
