More Great News For Us That’s Horrible For TrumpFeaturing a US Senator supporting impeachment, Zelensky, Hegseth fallout, and moreSpeaking to people over the last week, one thing is clear: the vibe is changing in America. Most of us have been facing this madness for more than 9 years now. We are battle-tested. We have never been stronger than now. And we’ll only grow from here. I’m happy to say I have another round of good news for you today. This phenomenal community has now made The Dworkin Report top 5 of all News publications on Substack. Unreal. Thank you for making it happen! Our activism arm—The Watchdog Coalition—run via our Substack, directed massive social media campaigns fighting for Medicaid and Social Security this week. Both efforts trended on Twitter/X and generated more than 750 million impressions. Through our huge Contact Congress initiative, we’ve now sent 277,568 letters, and made tens of thousands of calls to the House and Senate. Our momentum is building, but we need all hands on deck to keep it going. All of our funding comes from our paid subscribers on Substack. So if you haven’t yet, and you’re able, please join us as a paid subscriber today: For days, protesters have gathered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, pushing for charges to be dropped against Judge Hannah Dugan. On Saturday, hundreds marched to the Milwaukee FBI field office, chanting "Immigrants are here to stay," with a mix of anger and disgust for the Trump regime. All well warranted. WI State Rep. Ryan Clancy spoke to the attendees, saying: “The judiciary acts as a check to unchecked executive power. And functioning democracies do not lock up judges.” That’s absolutely right. And it’s on us to push back. That’s why we’re launching a campaign to pressure Congress to call for charges against the judge to be dropped. Let’s get loud. Do I seem fired up? I am. Just because we focus on the great news every day, doesn’t mean I won’t bring the heat. Wait for it—there’s more. Our phenomenal subscriber Klara was protesting outside of the Tesla dealership in Madison, WI, again this week. And no, maga, Klara doesn’t get paid for it. Klara says “the reaction was huge,” with a “solid chorus” of supportive honks. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met one-on-one with Trump at the Vatican, before the funeral of Pope Francis. Trump’s boss Vladimir Putin is surely fuming at how warmly Zelensky was received—and that his orange lapdog met with him directly. President Zelensky wrote this after the meeting: “Hoping for results on everything we covered … Protecting the lives of our people. Full and unconditional ceasefire. Reliable and lasting peace that will prevent another war from breaking out.” Some new polling was just released, and it’s not good news for Trump. An ABC/WaPo/Ipsos poll says a vast majority of Americans disapprove of Trump’s unhinged tariffs. Almost half of Republicans say the tariffs will negatively impact inflation. Wow, look at that newsflash. Where have they been? The Signalgate scandal keeps getting worse, and failed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth continues to deal with the fallout. This week he lost his Chief of Staff Joe Kasper, among other aides who left this month. Enough is enough! Just fire him already. Hegseth is an unqualified abomination who was never fit to hold the position in the first place. Dem Sen. Chris Murphy and Dem Rep. Maxwell Frost hosted a “People’s Town Hall” in GOP Rep. Richard Hudson’s district in North Carolina this week. Murphy said: “We are doing the job that these Republican congressmen and senators won’t do … I want to make sure that everywhere, in every corner of this country, people are willing to stand up and fight.” Murphy added: “The only way that history tells us that you stop an elected leader from converting a country away from democracy is mass mobilization.” Dem Sen. Jon Ossoff also held a town hall, where he addressed a constituent’s question about impeaching Donald Trump. Ossoff stated: “When the sitting president of the United States is selling access for what are effectively payments directly to him, there is no question that that rises to the level of an impeachable offense.” Ossoff made it clear it would require a Dem majority in the House to do so, but we need to start laying the groundwork right now. Which is why we are rolling out our impeachment pressure campaign this week. That’s it for today, but I’ll be back tomorrow with another edition of great news that’s bad for Trump. Until then, thank you for all you do, and for staying in the fight. As long as we stick together, we are truly unstoppable. Onward! Scott Do you agree with me that the bogus charges against Judge Hannah Dugan should be dropped? Let me know! I’ll try and respond to every comment!
